Kuretake Inn Fujisan was a nice spot to stay in and had a lot to offer. There were nice spa facilities, plenty of amenities (even manga to read), and a lovely breakfast every morning. The rooms were kept tidy and the staff were very helpful and kind. I would stay again.

Shocking carpet and duvet, gorgeous view.

This is a business class hotel and had the usual amenities of room spray, tv, shoeshine kit, and robe for the baths, etc. The staff was very friendly, and the older lady setting out breakfast seemed very diligent. I had a room on the 10th floor overlooking Mt. Fuji with a perfectly framed view. A nice surprise to see the sun rise on the snow. They also have vending machines with an assortment of drinks and ice cream in the lobby restaurant. The only reasons I am rating it lower is two things. First, there are disgusting stains in the room on the carpet, and being barefoot on that carpet was too much. I ended up making a pathway of the robes on the floor to keep my feet clean. There were stains on the carpet in the hallway too, and stains on the shower curtain as well, possibly mildew. The duvet on the bed was not the type that can be washed all the time either, so I had to pull that away from my face, and Secondly, the heat/cold air blows directly on your head as you sleep, making it a very uncomfortable night. I didn’t care for the breakfast options as the yogurt had split, the eggs lukewarm, and the sausages ice cold, but I didn’t get sick from eating them, so I suppose it was fine. Again, the front desk staff was the best part of the stay.

The food was good the reception lady when we first arrived was excellent and the rest of the staff were great. Location was good and the view from the room of Mt Fuji was superb

We made a pitstop here on our visit to Kyoto. Great view of Fuji-san from the room.
But the window has a metal wire design that does not allow a very clear view. You can adjust to take pictures. Irrespective, we enjoyed our stay.
The people at front desk are kind and prompt in helping you with your needs. Can store luggage after check-out.

We had a nice stay and enjoyed the Mt. Fuji view from our room window 🥰! I left my sweatshirt there and I called the receptionist and asked them to kindly send it to Tokyo and after 2 days I received it! Very kind personnel and helpful ! Thank you so much for accommodating us 🙏 Recommended 👍
