This was my first trip to Japan, I had to make some last minute itinerary changes and came upon Dormy Hot Springs. The room was a little smaller than I expected - by traveling solo I needed a clean comfortable space, this was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful to an American who spoke no Japanese. The breakfast buffet was exceptional plus to the stay.

Great hot springs. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff. They had complimentary e-bikes to check out for 2 hours.
They held our luggage one night as we submitted Mt Fuji. Had our bags placed in our rooms the next day.
Very nice location and service.

Great Staff, great facilities, room cleaness average, shower has yellowy stains, room has a stale smell.

Never disappoint

An overnight stay after visiting Premium Outlets Gotemba and like all Dormy Inns in Japan, this does not disappoint. Basic necessities but comfortable enough for a short stay.
Like all Dormy Inns, it comes with a public bath equipped with self service laundry machines. Likewise the free ramen at night is also a signature to all Dormy Inns.
The only issues would be if you do not drive then there is very limited options when it comes to dining around the hotel.

Excellent hotel with a view

Large group of us from Australia visited
Recently and we all loved it. The views to Fuji are spectacular from lots of the rooms, out the front , on the rooftop etc. lovely staff, fabulous rooms, excellent onsen, free electric and mountain bikes, parking , brekkie, evening ramen, free icecreams and yakult ( personal highlight). Totally recommend!!! They have thought of everything !!
