Immaculately clean, good heating in late autumn, having a washing machine in the middle of our 15 day vacation was a dream. However, we had to climb 40 steps to the apartment with luggage to get to the apartment, so be forewarned if you’re not physically fit!

Hygiene of this property was horrible! The property was full of insects and dirt. Bugs and spiders were everywhere - on dining table, on floor, on wall and even on the bed - literally a bug house! We were scared by a giant spider on the bed. It is beyond a normal hygiene problem but constitutes a safety concern for residents.
Nevertheless, most terrifying and disappointing thing is the attitude and response of the property manager. We tried to contact the owner and asked for cleaning the dead bug bodies in the apartment. However, property manager showed an irresponsible attitude and claimed that this is ‘normal’ in Hakone (which is ridiculous, this is not my first time visiting Hakone). The property manager told us to buy insect spray from convenient store and handle the insect problem by ourselves. What an irresponsible response!
The property locates beside a BBQ restaurant which operates till midnight, so please expect a strong oily smell. The location is close to railway. You will hear the noise from the train inside the property.
I strongly recommend Expedia to remove this property from its platform and ban this property management company permanently in order to safeguard the reputation of Expedia and benefit of customers.

是一整栋老房子，一层餐厅，二层厨房，三个卧室，一个干湿分离洗漱间，一个厕所，距离汤本站步行五分钟，711，lawson都很近，自助式入住超级方便，就是房间比较冷，卧室开空调可以很暖和，卫生间很冷，旁边就是登山线，早上乘坐时还能看到这家民宿，另外周围餐馆营业时间很短，如果不能早到，就只能去超市买快餐，倒是也很好吃

是日式的老房子，对于有大件行李的人来说不太友好，楼梯较多，但是房间非常干净整洁，设备异常齐全，可以住很多人，对于来度假休闲的家庭和朋友来说很不错，可以自己烧菜，入住也便利
