The appearance, interior and customer service of the inn are also very nice.

I used it for my birthday trip.
The inn looks nice from the outside, but the interior is also made of black and wood, so the atmosphere is very nice.
The receptionist is very polite and the same person is much more accommodating. He was Kameoka-san, but he was wonderfully caring and enjoyed talking to us.
For rice, I chose the Wagyu beef course. Of course, the wagyu beef is delicious, and the rice I eat with it was so delicious that I ate 3 cups (laughs)
The two of us had said we would love to use it again.

Amazing stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer! Our room was absolutely wonderful, boasting stunning views along with a private onsen. The hospitality throughout our visit was outstanding. A special thank you to Sara for her wonderful dinner service – she was incredibly kind, and it was such a pleasure getting to meet her.

The Perfect Introduction to Japan

An unforgettable stay. The hospitality, service, food, and overall experience were exceptional from start to finish. As our first visit to Japan, Nazuna was the perfect introduction to Japanese culture, cuisine, and the incredible kindness of its people.
Everything was so peaceful, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully arranged. The traditional meals were outstanding, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and every detail made our stay feel truly special.
We couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin our journey through Japan. Highly recommended, and we hope to return one day.

MUST VISIT—ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE

All I can say is wow! Nazuna Hakone Miyanoshita is a wonderful, spectacular place! I came here with my wife for our honeymoon and we stayed for one lovely night. The staff here is incredibly helpful and welcoming. We arrived 40mins before our checkout time via taxi and a staff member ran out to assist us with our bags. They checked us in and immediately brought our bags to our room and helped us understand the protocol. The room itself was absolutely stunning, so well taken care of, beautiful, and a perfect relaxed environment after our busy time in Tokyo. We both had the wagyu dinner which was prepared with elegance and tasted delicious. They gave a nice show and informed us of all the different food and what to pair each item with. We got massages in the evening and they were also great as the staff members came to our room and helped us relieve stress after the Tokyo trip. For breakfast, I had the Japanese experience and my wife had the western one on account of her gluten allergy which by the way; they were completely accommodating and specially prepared entire courses gluten free for her to enjoy. The western breakfast wasn’t her favorite but good God, the Japanese breakfast was incredible! So many different types of food and descriptions and pairings as well as incredible miso soup, tea, dessert, and rice. To top it all off, I let them know it was our honeymoon and they not only prepared the room with some sweet treats, they gave us a beautiful gift after breakfast. Truly, I can tell you if you are looking for a traditional Japanese experience while also desiring comfort and relaxation, this ryokan is phenomenal and my wife and I could not recommend it enough! Many thanks to the wonderful staff who made our trip so special!

What an amazing stay. The staff are incredible and the room was gorgeous. We were lucky to have booked the Gora Suite which was an amazing experience. Thank you for the experience we will be back!
