Simply Good hotel & location

Location is at its best!!
Near Hiroshima Station 500 m by foot
Located so near to many restaurants and shopping area
Rooms:
Small rooms how room facilities are well functional. Rooms are cleaned everyday.
With the hotel class or category, we did not expect big rooms
Breakfast is adequate in its class
They have the basic and simple breakfast.
Free Lights snacks from 2-11 PM was really a good gesture to all hotel guests.
Front Desk staff are genuinely helpful and courteous.
We had all what we need and what we expect in this hotel.
It was an excellent stay.

We found it great for the price

Family of 5 traveling to Hiroshima, two rooms, 3 in one and 2 in another. We found the hotel room to be more spacious than the room we had in Tokyo in which we could barely have room to walk by our bed even with our luggage folded. The room we had had two double beds a desk/table area with hot pot and complimentary tea and a small refrigerator. The wash basin was outside of the restroom with the bath and toilet. For three people there was ample room in respect to how Japanese hotel rooms can be. We liked the energy efficiency of the room lights going off if your room card was not in the light slot on the wall. The Japanese breakfasts served was not fantastic but for the price of the hotel we found it to be very good and the main items did change daily which was nice. The beds were on the firm side but we have had a lot firmer which was more like sleeping on concrete in other hotels. If we visited this area again, we would stay at this hotel again. It was clean and the housekeeping staff were pleasant and refreshed our towels by leaving new towels in bags with all new amenities (toothbrushes,etc) on our door if we did not want the room cleaned for the day. It was also conveniently located across from the train station and 7-11 on the corner made it convenient for late night snacking.

Our guest room has useful amenities such as a humidifying air purifier. Our housekeeping staff are striving to keep guest rooms clean.
Welcome drink is available at the lobby from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. free of charge.
Eco-friendly plan without cleaning service are chosen by many guest staying long period.
Towels and amenities can be replaced daily even if your plan is eco-friendly plan.
To save energy, our room electricity turns off when you leaving the guest room, as you mentioned.

Don't be late for breakfast.

This a typical mid range Japanese hotel which is clean and reasonably priced if you can avoid weekends . The rooms are very small, no surprise, and the double bed is more of a large single but it was comfortable. But we managed 4 nights without a divorce. The wifi was fine as was the stuff in the bathroom. The ladies in reception are lovely but don't speak a lot of English.
We didn't get to try breakfast because on the first day we arrived at few minutes before the finish time, and once we got through the confusion about payment it was 1 minute after finish time and breakfast was not available. This was the decision of the grumpy old man who is some sort of boss. We just went to the 7 Eleven over the road for food and the same for the next 3 mornings. So there, you miserable old toad.

3.8 Stars for the Vessel Inn

I booked this hotel through trip Advisor partner Japanican and prepaid to secure a great price. It is a functional clean hotel that excels in service and most everything they offer for this price point. I liked the close location near the Hiroshima Train Station, close as in a 7 minute walk but in a quiet area and stones throw from the Zoom Zoom Mazda baseball park. My room was very nice, bed very comfortable and on the second day I slept 16 hours so that should tell you something as I had already spent in Tokyo prior and recovered from jet leg so this was just good sleep. I had breakfast on all three days I stayed which was 700Y and worth every penny. There was sausages and scrambled eggs, pastries, fruits, juices, coffee, dry cereals and many Japanese foods - all delicious and I tried everything. I liked having some fish everyday for breakfast - particular as it was smoked just like kippers. I would stay here again without hesitation particular as its 3 minutes to this very frequent trams - and all go by the stop and you can easily pull a suitcase from the train station.

There are many sightseeing spots within walking distance. For this traffic convenience our guest rooms are not so spacious, but we are always making efforts to maximize the space for our guests’ satisfaction. We are delighted that you had a good sleep and breakfast at our hotel. We provide Simmons beds and our original pillows which can be adjustable to suit guest’ preferences in all rooms. We offer free welcome drinks in the lobby for your relaxing time. And also, you can enjoy a wide variety of buffet-style breakfast such as freshly-baked breads, local foods, and etc. from 6:00am to 9:30am. We hope to see you again when your travels bring you back to the area and welcome to our hotel soon.
