Good experience
The most modern & upmarket place we could find in Ishigaki, located on the outskirts of town.
This is an apartment style hotel with rooms with kitchenettes and balconies. There is a restaurant onsite as well as a bar, but you need to pay directly and cannot put anything on your room account (they do accept Alipay so if you have your phone with you, you can pay at the pool bar)
Rooms are nice and have all amenities you need - we had the executive double room with 2 large beds, seating area, kitchen and nice bathroom. Balcony has a table anc chairs but all though rooms can all have 4 adults or more, there are only 2 chairs on the balcony.
Our room was on the 2nd floor of the south building which is only 4 floors high so elevator was always quick but 2nd floor means 1 floor above ground floor so minimal seaview as the trees are in the way. Also our balcony was next to some huge aircon units who switched on regularly and made quite some noise which you hear inside your room as well. The rooms get advertised with a bathtub in front of a window overlooking the the sea, but not this room. Window was made opaque as the roof of the hotel lobby was in front of it........that was a disappointment.
Also, some of the lower floor rooms would not have given you the privacy in your bathroom.
There were 2 pools and the adult one as great on the 2F as no kids (20yrs and above) and the hotel was very strict about it. Not a lot of lounge chairs at the pool but you could use the entire rooftop terrace loungers.
Pool bar was open but often you had to phone someone to be able to order, Pool stays open till late but the bar does close earlier.
Pools are both lit up at night and people do enjoy them till late
Breakfast was fine and we paid as we used the buffet: Japanese oriented but there was yoghurt, fruit and eggs. Anything besides black coffee had to be paid for on top of buffet breakfast price.
Staff at front desk was helpful, even helping us phone a taxi in Japanese or making a restaurant reservation.

A Beautiful Hotel on a Beautiful Island
Absolutely loved this hotel!
The rooms were huge, comfy and modern, with thoughtful amenities that covered everything you might have forgotten. Everything felt new, clean and well looked after.
We spent a few days relaxing by the pool and the views were beautiful. The upstairs pool and pool bar were quiet and we didn't have a problem getting any sunbeds.
We enjoyed drinks and a pizza at the main pool and couldn't fault the service and taste. One night we had a few drinks at the Red Bar and they weren't cheap but they tasted great. There was always music playing around the pool areas, but it never felt intrusive.
We hired a car and to explore Ishigaki, the island is so stunning, peaceful and scenic. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Spacious suites with ocean views and a stay-based resort with excellent breakfast quality
During my stay on Ishigaki Island, I used the "seven x seven stone walls" and stayed at "The Seven Ocean Suite".
Comfortability of the rooms (The Seven Ocean Suite)
The rooms are very spacious, with a small tatami space behind the living area with a large sofa.
The room was equipped with a projector and counter kitchen, and was designed to make you feel as if you were in your own room.
Especially impressive is the vast balcony terrace.
The outdoor Jacuzzi and large sofa set overlook the ocean, allowing you to spend some time feeling the pleasant breeze. A view bath overlooking the sea is also provided inside, and the design takes advantage of the location.
Pool and sauna facilities
The outdoor pool in the common area is calm and unified.
By the pool, covered cabanas, reclining chairs and Jacuzzis are arranged at a reasonable distance, providing a quiet environment.
Together with the attached sauna, I was able to relax and refresh by the water.
A varied and quality breakfast buffet
Breakfast is served buffet style, highlighting the overall quality and variety of items.
Seafood corner: You can make your own seafood bowl with ingredients such as salmon, salmon, green onion and squid.
It is attractive that you can enjoy luxuriously with plenty of money on it.
Hot vegetables and soups: In addition to Western-style dishes such as garlic shrimp, sautéed mushrooms, and Spanish-style rice porridge (tacardu), the soups include both pork soup and clam chowder, which suggests a great deal of care.
Bread and drink: Waffles, tacos and fresh fruit are on offer, as well as bottled fresh juices and sparkling wine for the morning, which can be tasted cocktail-style.
I was able to spend my mornings elegantly in an open restaurant space that made me feel the warmth of wood.

The quality of the accommodation has been enhanced by the full range of facilities and the charm of the location, rather than relying on the gorgeous production.

Loved the washer dryer in the room. Great modern hotel with apartment feel. Good location set a little out of town but not too far, onsite car rental was simple and very helpful along with the lime scooters on site.

Specious and great layout room with massive balcony to enjoy the ocean. Very new and accessible location. Definitely recommend
