The location is great, just minutes from the JR station & bus stop! The hotel is clean & comfy, but the view? Totally unexpected & stunning! 😍 Sea views for days! 🌊
The onsen is 24/7 accessible, sup! 😎 Just a heads-up: no meals provided, but local restaurants are just a couple minutes away. 😋

Not up to Expectations! Put in an Annexe

The Ryokan is very worn and tired but extremely clean. We entered via the main building only to be told that our room was in the annexe so we had to take the suitcases up in the lift to fifth floor then manually man-handle them across an adjoining passage-way and then back down in the lift to floor two of the annexe. Very inconvenient.
It was a large room, futons were thin compared to other ryokans we have stayed in.
Three free onsen on site and one roof-top onsen (payable). The amenities in the onsen were limited compared to others I have been to; no sterilised combs, no body lotions, no hairdryers, etc. My husband said there were no shaving or grooming facilities in the gents onsen.
"Orange Beach" is poetic licence - it's a black volcanic beach with moss growing on the upper parts

A short walk from Ito station. Facing the ocean. very nice view. Quaint, traditional and old hotel with tatami mats. The onsen is not big but does the job. For that price, it’s not bad.

The room is huge, and tatami is very conformatable.
Onsen is old style but still good. The location is very near to ITO station and you can find restaurant nearby.

3 types of private outdoor baths

Staying with the children for the second time on a family holiday
Orange Beach is right in front of you, close to the station, and the location is great.
Guests can use the private open-air bath for 45 minutes.
There are public and family baths and three types of private open-air baths.
I enjoyed Orihime and Hikoboshi for an additional fee in the service minutes.
Meals are eaten slowly in the morning and evening room meals.
The dinner was too gorgeous to eat and the additional stewed golden-eyed sea bream was delicious.
I enjoyed the fireworks I brought with me on the beach, but the inn lent me a bucket and I was saved.
This inn is recommended for families staying with hot springs in the sea.
