One of kind accommodation

It’s hard to say what I like most about this place. On one hand, I want to start off by saying how incredible the view is. The placement of these two cottages is energizing. Perhaps more energizing is the staff. They are so kind and thoughtful and add a warm, personal touch. I was honored to have my main point of contact be the wife of the head priest of this incredible temple! And to top it off, I was honored again to meet the head priest himself, Daiko Iizuka. My conversation with him, meeting his wife and daughter, being able to walk around this peaceful property that dates back over 1000 years; the whole experience is something that can’t be replicated and I am still grateful to have experienced it.

This hotel is good. I feel very comfortable after staying for one night. It is located on a mountain and has a very wide view. To the east is the Xuedao Lake. There are only two small wooden houses, and there is a temple next to it. If you come here for the second time, it will be more inconvenient to check in, and everything else is ok. It is very suitable for vacation⛱️You can watch the sunrise when you lie in bed in the morning haha

Amazing place!

The Ichibata cottages are simply the most amazing place we have stayed during our trip in Japan. Located on the grounds of a beautiful buddhist temple, amazing views over the lake and easy access to explore the Matsue area.
A local restaurant can provide dinner and breakfast, you can attend the morning chanting of the monks and head priest Daiko speaks English so can explain a bit more about buddhism and the temple. For anyone exploring the Matsue area, this is the place to be!

就两个字，完美！可以说是我这次去日本旅行最喜欢的一次入住体验了，在山林静谧之处的宝藏小屋！特别干净，家具用品和厨房用品非常齐全，烤箱微波炉电磁炉咖啡机一应俱全，甚至电磁炉还准备了两个，还提前泡好了一壶茶在保温壶里，真的被暖到！开车15min去附近超市买了食材在屋里吃火锅🍲真的好幸福好惬意！一开门窗就是美翻的山湖景，早晨起来看着日出喝着咖啡很舒服，老公特意早起去晨跑了一次，整个世外桃源的感觉，舒适到不想回家的程度。不过如果不能开车过来的话会很不方便，还是推荐自驾的朋友来这里偷得浮生半日闲一下，很治愈～要注意的是垃圾需要自己带走，如果需要小屋管理方处理需要花50日元买垃圾袋装在里面交给办事处的人，而且需要分类，可燃垃圾，易拉罐和塑料瓶等都是要买不同垃圾袋来分装。

FABULEUX !

Pour faire l'expérience du Japon dans sa quintessence. Le gîte se trouve dans l'enceinte d'un temple bouddhiste au sommet d'une petite montagne un peu à l'écart des lieux touristiques. A mi-chemin entre le gîte et l'hôtel avec le confort d'un hôtel de catégorie supérieure. Et la vue depuis la terrasse est tout simplement fabuleuse au lever du soleil, sans parler de l'environnement d'un calme absolu. Pas vraiment pour les enfants de par sa situation dans un temple. Il est possible d'assister au service du matin au temple. Une expérience du Japon profond tel que je l'aime.
