Excellent hotel with very attentive and helpful staff; very clean and organized; the decorations were very impressive - it was just like being in an art display area through out the hotel; our room was wide and very welcoming yet very elegant; the food was very delicious and very beautifully presented; amenities were excellent! The view from our room was simply beautiful and very relaxing. Definitely worth the price and would recommend it to everyone.

A luxury that doesn't suit others

12 rooms, elementary school children are not allowed, adult atmosphere.
Sweet is pleasant.
Single pick up to Komatsu Airport ✈️.
At 12:30, check in.
The next day, at 11:30 p.m., I took a field trip to the matari hot spring bath.

It is better to think of the annex and main building as separate.

I stayed in the annex. If you stay in the annex, you can use the facilities in the main building, but it's not only in a completely different building, but also on different grounds, so I was only able to go once due to bad weather (unfortunately) and that one time was to enjoy the Japanese afternoon tea they provided. The service offers different Japanese sweets depending on the season, and they were delicious. The inside of the building was also modern and it was fun to look around.
There is no public bath in the annex. There are four private baths. Everything was spacious and beautiful. There is a lounge service, but I thought it was a little small. Both of them have a system where you can use them as long as they are available (there are also private baths that require reservations), so if the timing is bad, it will leave a bad impression. However, there weren't many rooms, so I felt like I could use it if I had to wait a little while.
I thought the food service was a little slow, but the food was excellent.
Overall, I thought it was for young people or women (there are a lot of colored yukata, but no samue), but I think even men would be satisfied with the food. There are late night snacks and lounge service (alcohol is also available for free).
Above all, most of the staff were very nice. Free shuttle service to Kanazawa Station was also a good point.

It was a luxurious trip.

I was very satisfied with the matcha tea and sweets offered at check-in. However, maybe it's time to stop changing into slippers? There were disposable slippers in the dresser for indoor wear, but it would have been better if they were near the entrance. The room was well-cleaned, so I felt at ease. We had a private room for our meal, and we were very satisfied with the quality and quantity. The bath was a suite, so it was a semi-open-air bath, small but relaxing. There is also a private bath, so if you make a reservation (or if you don't, you can use the private bath if it's available), you can have it all to yourself for a relaxing 50 minutes. The bath, washing area, and changing room were all very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Thank you for providing us with a wonderful accommodation experience. Also, it would have been perfect if there was a chair (not a chair) for my wife to put on makeup.

Kanazawa’s best ryokan

I had my first ryokan stay with Hyakurakuso. I couldn’t believe that they picked us up from the train station and how courteous the shuttle driver was. After about 30 min we reached the resort and the hotel staff greeted us to welcome us and take our luggage. 
I wasn’t very familiar with all of the customs and while I felt a little bit awkward at times, the hotel staff was on point and worked hard to make sure that we knew exactly what to do. 
It is important to schedule baths, dinner time and shuttle pick drop offs and pick ups with the hotel staff. I would recommend bathing before dinner and after breakfast, but you can do it however you wish. Don’t be surprised if the bed isn’t put out when you arrive, the hotel staff will arrange everything for you while you eat. 
The food is completely off the charts good. I can’t say enough about the dishes. Make sure you splurge a little and go for the crab. It should be one of the main reasons you’re in Kanazawa anyway. 
All in all it was an amazing experience and the staff could not have been better. Make sure to trust them to help you get things right and don’t be afraid to ask question.
