Great hotel next to big shopping & restaurant mall. Easy driving to & from. Discount parking vouchers for undercover parking lot 4 minutes away was good.
Staff very helpful & friendly

Small room

The Grins hotel has a good location near a large shopping centre but this hotel must have the smallest room we have been in since arriving in Japan. It’s clean & the bed is just ok, hopefully the breakfast will be better.

Great location right across the street from the arcade and a block away from their main downtown mall! Wonderful lounge on the 2nd floor as well if you just need a spot to relax before turning in for the day.

2nd time staying here, and it was once again great. Clean, spacious (for Japan), great staff, and great location.
The only downside is the hotel has become popular with tour groups since last year, so every morning a new bus load would leave, and every evening a new busload would check in. Still, the rooms are well insulated, so I never heard anything, just know that this is a popular hotel, so checking in or out during peak hours might take a little while.

Low-price business hotels

A family of four people stayed at this hotel during the New Year’s Eve and booked a two-bedroom double room at this hotel in Pumpkin (invitation date 2/13-2/15) and a two-bedroom double room at the JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom (invitation date 2/17-2/19) right across from Fukuoka Bodo Station three months ago via booking. This Grids Premium Hotel Kumamoto gave us two rooms on different floors, which made it extremely uncomfortable for our family to meet and get together due to the lift. The corridors and walls on the floor are all black devices, which makes us feel uncomfortable, especially when a person buys bottled water downstairs, it will make the heart beats faster on the corridors... Speaking of the price and more expensive than the hotel in the back of Fukuoka Bodo, the location is not near the main station, let alone the convenience of shopping and dining, as well as the facilities in the room are obviously inferior to the latter. I stayed in two hotels on the same time and conditions to compare, Grids Premium Hotel has also made great progress and improved space, otherwise I would not stay in this low-price hotel again.
