Refuge after motorcycle breakdown

Very helpful and restful night after Harley broke down earlier in afternoon about a km away. Could not get bike started back up in rain, locals pointed us to this hotel which made room for us while we sorted out repairs. Excellent dinner, relaxing Onsen and great breakfast, along with clear skies headed us on our way. Bike was repaired by mechanic who came from koshiro and we were back on our way. Refuge in a storm.

Good location, nobody speak english !

Good points:
-nice, green and quiet location, nice park, forest, small lake with wild ducks
-good thermal water SPA center
-big free parking
-clean and warm inside, winter outside
-very polite team in front desk, in restaurant, in SPA
-very good restaurant, also european also asian meals. They ask about ellergies before serving and ordering.
-nice small shop at reception desk
Bad points:
-very long distance from the Kushiro City Center or Kushiro Railway Station
- just few busses per day, no one late evening or early in the morning. Around 8 USD per person.
-long trip for taxi to Kushiro, aprox 45 minutes and 60 USD cost.
-NOBODY speak english at reception desk, restaurant or SPA. Nobody speak english at telephone. You have to ask people on the street to find one speaking english to help you for .... everithing.
-all inscriptions are in Japanese language, also no intsrnational marks. Also to the toilet ypu don't know where to go, man or woman.
-all menu are in Japanese language, you never know what you eat.
-all inscriptions and warning in the SPA are in Japanese language, is a real comedy what is there, you don't know also the temperature of the hot water. Real adventure.
-most of the prices are in Japanese numbers, you have to guess what you have to pay.
-in SPA hairdrier is working with coins, you did not understand how much, all are in Japanese language. In SPA the lockers need coins, including for the people accomodated in the property. You did not understand how much or what coin you have toinsert, all in Japanese language.
IMPORTANT WARNING: you will find just there, the SPA is divided by gender. All persons have to go in SPA completly naked, no swim / bath swuit alloud, also the towels are small !
At the end of the day was a nice vacantion, but real adventure with understanding with people.

Gets the job done

This place is modern and comfortable, a community onsen, not luxurious, but gets the job done. The outside pool is a bit small and does't overlook anything worth looking at. Inside, a bigger pool, a whirlpool, a cold pool, a "milky" pool that was mildly scented from its content and a head massage water stream, so pretty complete as far as onsen needs are concerned. Water was alkaline, but didn't read the statistics closely. We were there on a weekday and the lunch/onsen special, at around US$10 was great -- meal was tasty (restaurant closes for lunch at 3pm), and onsen relaxing. Run efficiently, and a good place to stop by if you're travelling since it's quite close to Kushiro airport. Good ice cream here too, so rounding up to 4*.

清潔で職員さん達は、ほとんどの方が親切でした。
そのうちの、１人２人は、なんだかなーと言う人もいましたが、仕方無いんでしょうね。
レストランは、薄味で健康に気をつけている、
朝食でした。また、中華のお料理も、美味しく頂きました。
温泉も、良かったし、何よりフロントの職員さん達が、本当に良くして頂きました。
お土産を選ぶのも、助けて頂きました。
また、行きたいと思います。

酒店位處釧路近郊，環境幽靜，頗為舒適。但位處於釧路市動物園旁，距離丹頂鶴公園也只是10分鐘車程，十分方便。早餐和晚餐店員服務周到。
