There's no such thing as hospitality.

I comment because it was such a bad inn.
I stayed there around the time before Golden Week.
It was my first family vacation in a long time on a road trip, both as a birthday gift and a hospital discharge gift.
Even though it was the middle of April, in the rainy, 10 degree temperatures, the lobby was not heated and I couldn’t take off my jacket when I went inside the building.
At check-in, an employee glanced at us, as if deciding what to order, as we walked down the stairs by the kiosk. The staircase was narrow and steep, so I thought it was just for employees, but I was surprised by the stairway that led to the accommodation building, where guests also pass.
The hallways in the accommodation building were not heated either, and I felt cold every time I went outside the room.
At first, I wanted two special rooms because I liked how each room looked. However, at the suggestion of the inn, one of the rooms was changed to a Japanese-style room of about eight tatami mats next to the special room.
I noticed during my stay that there were no guests except us, and when I went to see the special room floor that I had hoped for, the whole floor was pitch black.
I was convinced that this was also a Japanese-style room, but I was amazed that it was actually for the convenience of the inn to unify the floor of the room. They probably thought that if they had both rooms on the same floor, they could save money on electricity and cleaning the rooms.
As I was being led to my room, Nakai-san explained to me that I was staying with the same group, and it bothered me as if I was being considerate towards her.
There was no sauna in the public bath, no special location in the national park, no view from the open-air bath, it was quite normal.
I also used about four tissues from the dressing room and they were gone and not replenished in the morning.
The person in charge of the beauty salon often emphasized that entertainers were also used, and I was concerned that they looked down on us a little here and there, but they were good at it.
However, after I was sent to the room of the massage, I was in a barefoot state all the time, and towards the end of the massage, I brought out the footwear a little deliberately and said, "You forgot to bring out your slippers," and it was unpleasant.
When I went to the public baths in the morning, it was still 7am, and it was dim and chilly, not only because of the heat in the hallway but also because the lights were not on. I thought that even if it was energy-saving, at least the floor where guests were staying should be attached. I felt that they were slicking customers with flowing stones.
At breakfast, the waiter could be heard outside the cubicle chatting, "I wonder if it's over," and at the end, he came into the room, pretending to be the wind that had been left behind.
I don't know if you want your customers to leave very quickly or if you want to get your work done very quickly, but I couldn't believe it.
I have used various inns and hotels, but this is the first time I have thought of writing my impressions.
It has been about a month since I stayed here, but my heart is still cloudy.
Overall, there was no sense of hospitality, and as much as I had expected, it was a disappointing inn that was not worth the price.
I don't think I'll ever stay here again and I wouldn't recommend it.
Here is my assessment of the inn:
Customer service: 1 forehand (The lady at the front desk when checking in/out was nice. I was uncomfortable with the annoying and onerous behavior of some other employees.)
Service: 3.5 forehand (welcome drink, sweets and fridge free drink)
Cleanliness of the inn: 2 (it is aging overall and looks gloomy because it is dim)
Cooking: 4 forehand (good content and quality)
Room:
・Special Room: 3
(The interior is rather new and reasonably clean, but the room is quite small compared to the photos on the website. There are two sinks, but they're small and hard to use. Baths and washrooms are cramped. It's in the mountains, so there's no point, but there was a centipede in the room.)
・Japanese Style: 3
(It was old, the air conditioning didn't work very well and it was cold. The bath and washroom are too small.)
Este: 3.5 forehand (good arm)

It's been cleaned up.

Both the exterior and the interior have been renovated neatly.
They say there's a grade to the meal.
Each evaluation of the food log included a high-end plan, a standard plan, and even lunch, which were highly evaluated overall but not very useful.
In the standard plan, it tastes reasonable and is a suitable ingredient.
There are many staff, but each of them seems to have a narrow set of responsibilities, and they don't seem to do anything shoddy.
Every staff member conveys a kind of spirit as if they want to finish their work as soon as possible.
The baths have been renovated beautifully, but the quality of the water was not good.
Even though the cars of the customers in the parking lot are mostly luxury cars, the rooms where we are staying were like standard cars.
Wherever I go, I can only feel people's desire to control their expenses.
Does it represent a bad economy in Japan?
This year, I hear that the number of insolvencies among small and medium-sized enterprises is the worst since the war.
The Michelin 2019 pavilion rating for the inn seems to have been canceled, possibly because of the renovation.
However, the fact that it was once evaluated remains.
It's certainly a good building.
However, the cuisine of the inn was not appreciated.
