Excellent location with good view of Mt Iwate and value for money

Stayed 1 night and managed to enjoy all 4 onsen pools as the pools were swapped in the morning. There are 2 pools per session, on both 2nd and 3rd floors. My room 908 has very good view of Mt Iwate when the sky is clear. Dinner and breakfast has buffet items to collect oneself but dinner has varying special items eg abalone prepared for each table. Free dance and drum cultural performance at night. Room is super big for 4 pax (only 2 of us) but only thing is the numerous stains on the tatami and carpet. Need a makeover urgently but price is lower than some others in the region so try to overlook.

Booked it as a place to relax and enjoy. It was a 20 min drive from the morioka station. The place was next to a river and was nice and peaceful. The hotel had 2 onsens - one on the 2nd (larger) and the 3rd. Visited the smaller one on the 3rd which also has an outdoor option, which was nice and peaceful at night.
The family room on the top floor had marvellous views of the river and mountains. Rooms were clean and spacious. Futons were prepared when you go for dinner.
Kaisekei dinner was excellent as well with different menus every day for our 4 day stay. Breakfast was the same everyday, but the variety was large enough.
There were special activities at the hotel every night for about 2 months which were quite memorable. It the special mention must be for the staff. They are really affable and helpful and remember all the small details, like when you have food preferences (wife could not eat raw food), when your last day - and these were servers at the meal times..
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend for a place to just relax and chill

One of the baths was shut down unexpectedly for repairs. They drove us to a connected hotel so we could use that facility.

The staff were incredibly accommodating (to be fair everyone in Morioka was exceptionally hospitable). The hotel was awesome, onsen was amazing and the food absolutely delicious (both dinner and breakfast).

Rooms were very clean and roomy and the staff services were very attentive. Breakfast was a generous buffet with lots of options.
