A calm and long, good inn
The room was spacious and clean, and the portion sizes for the meals were not too large, which was good. It was a shame there was no open-air bath, but I thought everything else was good. The happy hour was very good. The all-you-can-drink highball was also good. It was very disappointing that it was a different ticket, even though it was supposed to be a ticket for Nasu Highland Park. I thought everything else was good. Thank you very much. I will use it again.

You'll be in the natural environment.
The welcome drink, apple juice/coffee and manju, was very good. The food was also very varied, with seasonal items, and the two-night stay was very satisfying!
I was soothed by the flow of Kinugawa from the room and the birdsong.

It was my first stay.
The food was delicious. The one-hour all-you-can-drink whiskey service was great.

Lovely stay, lovely staff
We had a lovely stay here. We stayed in January 2024 so it was very quiet and there were only a couple of other guests the whole time we were there, and we had the onsen all to ourselves everytime we visited. The staff were so lovely as well and really tried to accommodate our lack of Japanese.
The room was large and had a nice view, but we didn't really enjoy it much as the room by the window with the view was freezing! So we usually closed it off. And the shower room was also freezing! I ran a bath just to warm up the room and had to leave the shower running for a while to warm up the shower floor.
We asked for no housekeeping as we were only there for a couple of days, but they insisted on providing fresh towels so the next day there was a pile of fresh towels and new cups, snacks and tea sachets waiting by the front door, which was nice. Only downside was we had to make our own futons. I assume they do it for you if you request housekeeping.
Another great thing about it not being too busy is we got to park our car right at the front door!
We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant included in our stay, which was very substantial and pretty delicious, especially the Tochigi wagyu, yummmmm. There's also a selection of yukata to use at the hotel which was a nice touch.
