This is the second time that we are staying here, the last time was 3 years ago, surprising everything is what it was the last time, however, the service, the cleanliness, the place is so well maintained. Well still go back to stay again

The rooms in the main building are excellent examples of classic luxury maintained over many years
Not flashy, modern, chic, but extremely well apportioned and maintained
Bath tubs with water pressure better than any hotel I have seen

Best in class. If you’re looking for luxury, convenience, service and top restaurants this is the place to be. I will be back.

imperial Hotel Tokyo - good central location

Positives
• Location: Central and highly convenient, walking distance to Ginza and several subway lines, opposite Hibiya Park (nice for evening stroll)
• Service: Top-notch and attentive throughout — staff go above and beyond without ever feeling intrusive
• Breakfast: Excellent at Viking, with a great variety to start the day
• Rooms: Clean and comfortable, with thoughtful kids’ amenities — a nice touch for families
• Cleaning: Housekeeping was very good, room always felt spotless
• Lifts: Fast and efficient, rarely waited more than a few seconds despite the hotel’s size
• Quiet: despite some of the other reviews all 5 nights were very quiet at night
• Food: a number of good food options right on the doorstep
Negatives
• Decor: A little dated in places, though this adds to its classic, old-world charm
Summary: A true Tokyo classic — impeccable service, spotless rooms and an unbeatable location, with just a touch of old-world wear that only adds to the charm.

Superb Hotel

We stayed at the Imperial hotel 7 nights during our 3 week trip to Japan. We stayed 4 nights at the beginning of our trip and 3 nights at the end of our trip. The entire experience was amazing. Every hotel associate I came into contact with was great. The room was flawless. Housekeeping amazing. Laundry service fast. Restaurants were all delicious. The concierge so helpful. I am a Bonvoy Marriott Titanium Elite member so I usually stay at Marriott hotels but decided to give the Imperial Hotel a try since the comparable Marriott brands were much more $ than the Imperial and I am so glad we did. Yes the lobby does get busy and the restaurants are not always available but if you plan ahead you can make reservations. The hotel is walking distance to many great restaurants. If you need a night off from Japanese food try a restaurant near the hotel called Ostrea Oyster bar, they have a vast variety of oysters and great european style food. They waiter we had spoke fluent english.
