Excellent facilities and staff, but the rooms could use some refreshing
We also highly appreciated the laundry room, which is a very useful amenity in a country where trekking, excursions, and long walks are often part of the travel experience. The complimentary parking with concierge service was another great convenience.
The restaurant was a pleasant surprise as well. We used the in-room dining service several times and always enjoyed very good meals. Finally, the beds and mattresses were extremely comfortable and ensured a great night's sleep.
The property itself is beautiful and has tremendous potential, but some of the interiors are beginning to show their age. The rooms and bathrooms could benefit from a refresh, with issues such as slow-draining showers, dated fixtures, and grouting in both bathrooms and flooring that could use more attention.
It's a shame because the hotel is genuinely attractive and offers excellent facilities; what's missing is that feeling of freshness and attention to detail that would allow it to fully live up to its potential.
The breakfast is good, but there is still some room for improvement in terms of variety and quality to better match the overall standard of the hotel.

Stole my money
No refund. No date change. Not even the basic human decency of acknowledging that keeping full payment for a room that was never occupied, for a trip that was physically impossible to make, is just plain wrong.
The non-refundable policy exists to protect against no-shows and last-minute whims. It is not supposed to be a mechanism for profiting off travellers whose flights get cancelled.
Zero flexibility. Zero empathy. Zero interest in doing the right thing when it would cost them nothing to do so.
There are hundreds of hotels in Amman. Book literally any other one. This establishment has made it very clear that once they have your money, you are no longer their concern — and that tells you everything you need to know about how they'd treat you as an actual guest too.
