Amazing Cycladic studio in Katapola

My family and me stay in Amorgaia 2 between 13 and 17 August. The studios are located in a quiet quarter Rachidi very close to the beach and to the port. The house is in typical Cycladic style eat the white washed church and stairs. The huge veranda with peacefull Greek cats and bougenville tree looks to the mountains over Katapola and to the port. The studio is very nice, my wife and son likes it very mutch. There is super market five meters near. The host mr. Theodoros was very friendly and visit us every day for a couple of minutes. We will never forget our stay in Amorgaiaand wants to Koke back. Strongly recommended.

Average rooms

We stayed at Amorgaia 2 studios in August 2014 for six nights. The room was on 2nd floor up some very steep, uncomfortable steps. The veranda although we were told by owner was 'ours' was shared with the studio next to us, which meant that they could arrive to enter their room anytime. The room was tiny, bathroom was very small and sewage pipes smelt bad, we had to keep the door shut. There was practically nowhere to prepare breakfast, there is no 'kitchen' sink, only the bathroom sink and the only available surface was the top of the small fridge. There is free wi-fi but it's painfully slow. Matress is hard but not awful. The owner is not bothered too much about the customer's experience, any complaint he just shrugs off. On the positive side it had daily cleaning and frequent changing of sheets and towels, and was quiet but price was too high for what it was at 50 euros at night.

Ήσυχη Διαμονή

Το δωμάτιο βρισκόταν σε καλή τοποθεσία στο λιμάνι των Καταπόλων. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν ευγενικός και μας βοήθησε σε ότι χρειαστήκαμε.
Αυτό που δεν μας άρεσε ήταν ότι η κατάψυξη ήταν πάρα πολύ μικρή, χώραγε με το ζόρι ένα μικρό μπουκαλάκι νερό. Επίσης, η καθαριότητα του δωματίου δεν ήταν επαρκής.

tres bon séjour

L hote est venu nous chercher au ferry c’était super. l'établissement se trouve à 7 min du port et quelques minutes des meilleurs restos et de la plage principale de la ville . Nous avions 2 chambres et chacune étaient top, la notre avec une grande terrasse sur l’arrière pays et un bout de mer , le tout très calme . le confort était correct, avec une petite kitchenette et un frigo, quelque verres et ustensiles. La déco était très jolie et très agréable , la literie très correcte aussi.
par contre prévoyez des masque pour dormir car certaines chambre on la Lumière du jour qui rentre ;-)

Απογοητευση

Εμείς αναγκαστικα ακυρωσαμε την διαμονή μας φτάνοντας στο κατάλυμα. Το λιγότερο απογοητευτική η κατάσταση του μπάνιου. Ευτυχώς καταφέραμε να βρούμε γρήγορα νέο κατάλυμα, αλλού φυσικά, αξιοπρεπές και σε κατάσταση που έδειχνε ξεκάθαρα ότι σέβεται τον πελατη.
