Summer Paradise
This small but perfect resort very close to the popular village of Livadi is incredible!
After a short complimentary transfer I arrived late at night to be greeted by the lovely hosts Pantelis and Maroula. I was taken to my little house in paradise (or at least mine for the three days) and Pantelis explained all of the necessary things in the building and about the times for breakfast.
Pantelis made a wonderful offer of some homemade lemonade and yogurt, and only the morning after did I regret saying no. I was definitely tired but if I’d known then what I know now I’d have stayed up that extra half an hour.
In the morning I strolled down for breakfast at about nine and that beautiful Greek filoxenia was on top form. I was met at my table and offered various coffees (of which obviously I chose a Frappe, glyko me gala - my new morning treat). You then are presented with the days breakfast starter. A box lovingly prepared with local bread, some packaged dry bread, honey, a daily special marmalade, some cheese (I had both Graviera and Chlori over the three days). Each day there’s also a breakfast pie alternating between sweet and savory.
A small handful of local cookies, they’re made from the local Chlori cheese (a bit like the taste of mizithra but formed like manouri), as well as milk and saffron which grows wild on the mountain and gives the cookie a wonderful warm spicey feel. If I had luggage space I’d be bringing back kilos of these kitrinokoulouro.
Breakfast is finished with a main of your choosing and there’s eggs and meat cheese and veg to choose from as well as local yogurt.
The rooms are well presented as is the main pool area and the private gardens and terraces.

We stayed for (5) days with our wife and our (3) children. The only minus we knew was that there was no view of the sea, which in practice due to the nearest distance to the sea was not a problem. The accommodation was really great. The separate villa that was available to us was very spacious, with all the amenities and with a wonderful garden on the ground floor and a balcony on the 1st floor, where you didn't get full of the countless stars all night. Private parking right outside the apartment ideal for families, great pool area, amazing breakfast, close proximity to everything, and most importantly impeccable really behavior from the hosts.
We had a great time, we highly recommend it and hope the road will bring us back here sometime....

Perfect Accommodation In A Perfect Place
What a great place to stay!
We had 3 nights at Mouras Resort when we were on a recent island hopping trip.The accommodation was in an excellent spacious apartment which had 2 bathrooms,2 balconies and it's own private garden.
There was also a lovely pool which we had to ourselves every afternoon.
We had breakfast included in the package we booked and it was lovely with so much choice as well as a daily special dish.
The staff were so friendly and attentive and wanted to ensure that our stay was great. The location was a short walk from Livadi beach and transport was provided by the hotel when we arrived and to take us to the airport for our onward journey.
We really couldn't fault Mouras Resort and would happily stay here again if we ever return to Aastypalea.

It is located in Livadi Astypalaia, in perfect level point. Great accommodation with large apartments, clean. It has a swimming pool ideal for small children. Each apartment has its own parking space. Hosting owners Marula and Pantelis, smiling, full of kindness. They spotted us for everything on the island and helped us with everything. Breakfast perfect, delicious, with traditional dishes and fresh everything, since at that time they were preparing them. Not more than 100 meters on foot is Livadi Beach . There you will find supermarket, taverns, beach bar.

She is taken care of by the owners of the accommodation, but during my stay, she chose to be with me all the days ⁇ . In my yard. An unforgettable stay
We stayed at Mouras for five days in August with our two young children. Our room was a lovely two-story apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, two beds, two bathrooms, our own patio and balcony with a swing. We found the accommodations to be very comfortable and absolutely spotless. Breakfast each day was lovely with many options included. But the staff made the hotel most memorable. Each person was genuinely kind and warm, we felt so welcome. As we left, the staff handed us a gift and stood outside as our taxi drove away, each of them smiling and waving. You will not be disappointed with your stay at Mouras. It's a fantastic hotel with great people!!
