Gorgeous apartment hotel in lovely Glyfada

After a week on a cruise, we decided to extend our holiday with six nights in the Athenian Riviera and chose Glyfada as a good base for exploring the area. Accommodation was certainly more expensive than we were used to in Spain and Italy, with our apartment and breakfast costing almost £900, but Oasis Hotel and Apartments was well worth it. We were given an enormous end apartment with a huge lounge/dining room, air conditioning, TV, two double sofas, a small fold-away kitchenette and two wraparound balconies, one overlooking the pool. The apartment was spotless and cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel itself is a little tired in places, with some worn carpets and minor maintenance issues, but don’t let that put you off — this is a quality four-star hotel, and the staff are its shining stars. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, particularly the excellent pool and bar staff. We ate at the hotel one evening, received a complimentary dessert and a couple of shots on our final night, and ended up visiting the bar most evenings for a nightcap. Breakfast was excellent, with white linen, Greek yoghurt, fresh orange juice, great coffee, bakery items, breads, meats, cheeses and plenty of traditional Greek choices. The pool area was lovely, with plenty of sunbeds, shaded areas, showers, a children’s pool and a lifeguard on duty. A particularly thoughtful touch was when the lifeguard gave my partner mosquito gel after he was bitten. The hotel is on a busy main road, so there is some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us, and the location is excellent for exploring the Riviera, with buses along the coast and a metro connection towards Athens. We visited Vouliagmeni and its lake, Voula and Kalamaki, explored the beaches and local market, and enjoyed plenty of restaurants in Glyfada. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Oasis Hotel and Apartments if you’re looking for a comfortable, welcoming and more luxurious base in the Athenian Riviera. It absolutely deserves its four-star rating. We would happily come back for the staff pleasantness and the relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Ok stay, but pool is shared with the public.

Location is a fair walk to main town. Rooms are clean but dated. A bit pricey for value. But my biggest gripe is that the Pool is shared with the public, so as a guest you are fighting for pool spots, which is ridiculous at best.

Convenient location and good value

The hotel building it’s a bit old, but well maintained and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a lovely experience overall. The staff were very attentive and responsive to any requests, which made our stay even better. It’s in a very convenient location, within walking distance of two main beaches, as well as shops and restaurants. The swimming pool is cozy and relaxing, and the buffet breakfast was very nice with a good variety, including some traditional Greek options.

Nice staff and great food.

Nice restaurant food 5/5 and staff 5/5 .
The kitchen was under all criticism there are hot plates without pans or pots.
2 pieces of all service no washing pieces no dishwasher nothing just so hotel can get 4 *?
Cleaning 5/5
Many events with school endings and weddings etc can occur so it’s not just you and the hotel.

Terrible experience

Toilets didn’t flush. WiFi didn’t work. Air conditioning didn’t work. And I paid over double the quoted price. Staff is rude. Don’t stay here!!!!!!!
