Overlooking the Blue Flag Hersonissos Beach, the all-inclusive Creta Maris Resort combines a Cretan hospitality and green-oriented environment with exclusive 5-star services.

Excellent Hotel, Staff Amazing
Booked via JET2, arrived at 2.30pm and was allocated a room (1306), which is always a good start, thank you.
We had the Adults Only Room on the far side of the hotel, worth paying extra for as you have your own area and access to private pools.
Cleaners did a good job. Room decent size (not huge) but with balcony.
We used the buffet restaurant for breakfast a lunch but took the Al a Carte restaurants for most evenings.
You must book them at 8am via the app for the next day, all that was pretty easy. Alatsi restaurant was our favourite staff and food were fab, ate there three times.
Beach and Pool areas excellent, special mention to the Simi Beach bar guys they were fantastic and the guy in the Aperol Spritz beach bar, all friendly and helpful
Health and Safety was very good, one of the pool assistance poles broke (the ones to help you access the pool), we alerted the lifeguard, he called someone immediately, within 5 minutes the pool access point was tapped off, maintenance had arrived and removed the broken pole. Pool was back open within 10 minutes.
Plenty of facilities, tennis, crazy golf, table tennis etc. Had a massage at the Spa again very good.
A lot of hotels seem to be cutting back on staff but that certainly isn’t the case with this hotel, plenty of staff available to help from the bar and restaurant staff, the beach staff, the grounds staff, reception staff, activities staff. Would definitely return if the price was good.

Absolutely perfect stay – 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We have just finished our stay at Creta Maris, and honestly, everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. We stayed in the Adults Only section, room 4014, and we could not have asked for a better experience.
The hotel is beautiful, the food was excellent, the A La Carte restaurants were fantastic, the bars were perfect, and the service throughout the resort was exceptional. The reception team were always welcoming and helpful, and every member of staff we met was friendly, professional and genuinely happy to help.
A very special thank you to Maria and her amazing team at Sima Bar in the Adults Only area. They were absolutely brilliant and made us feel so welcome every time we visited. They were friendly, fun and always made our time at the bar even more enjoyable. ❤️
We would also like to give a very special thank you to Elani from the A La Carte restaurant team. She was incredibly helpful whenever we needed assistance with the restaurants. Whatever question we had, she was always there with a beautiful smile, patience and such a lovely attitude. She really went above and beyond to help us, and we truly appreciated her kindness.
And a special thank you to Robert, the photographer, who was also lovely and helped make our holiday even more memorable. ❤️
The staff throughout the resort were honestly one of the highlights of our stay. Everyone was wonderful, and the level of service really made us feel looked after.
We also paid to extend our room until 5pm on our departure day, which was absolutely worth it and made our final day so much more comfortable before heading to the airport.
We are leaving Crete with such wonderful memories and honestly cannot fault this hotel. Everything was perfect – the room, food, drinks, restaurants, service, atmosphere and especially the people.
Thank you, Creta Maris, for an amazing holiday. We will definitely be back! ❤️

Great hotel and highly recommended.
We had a great time at Creta Maris Resort. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Food was nice all week, lots of choice. The waiters and all staff around the hotel were always really helpful and had a smile on their faces. Definitely recommend this hotel for families. Thanks to all the team at the hotel for an amazing week.

Beach, pools, sun and wonderful food!
I would give the hotel 9,5 stars from the staff to the facilities and the food it has it all you need to spend wonderful relaxed days at the Sun. The beach is directly in front of the hotel, the pools are great and the best is the food. Every night we had dinner at a different restaurant with typical Greek and Cretan food we tried lots of dishes. Big high 5 to Georgios at the gym and Robert for the wonderful fotos. Dimitris at reception also give us the perfect room we needed to sleep every night like a baby. Gym could open earlier and missing a Beachvolleyball court. Animation Team did a excellent job also. Ever night a great and different show was also a big surprise and we loved it. We will be back. Greatings from Portugal.
