A week at the Origin
Despite being abit apprehensive & reading the reviews about a 24 hour bar & the noise, my experience didn’t reflect this at all & I couldn’t recommended this hotel enough. A few days to visiting the origin, I emailed the hotel and spoke to Markos to ask for a quieter room as I felt worried. Despite being so busy mid season, he was able to first put us in a ‘quieter room’ for a few days, then move to a room nearer the bar but honestly from normally being so noise sensitive, this did not faze me one bit and once the bar doors are closed the noise level drops massively- I was expecting music to be coming through the walls! We done the Greek night was brilliant; €15 & well worth the money, plate smashing, bbq and lots of dancing.
The rooms are gorgeous, we thought they were very modern & had comfy beds which is always a bonus, the room also came with a lockable safe & aircon.
The hotel staff are all so friendly & really make an effort with you, getting to know you & teaching you little bits of Greek, when you arrive, someone is there to help you to take your cases to your room & welcome you.
The location was 10/10 so close to everything; town, a supermarket, bakeries, lots of souvenir shops and a bus stop where you can travel into Kos town.
We really felt well looked after, safe as two girls and would love to visit again soon, I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough & everyone that I spoke to that stayed in the hotel that week with us said the exact same thing!

Simply the best
Just got back to normality...
Had no idea what to expect - within seconds of entering Dimitri had taken our cases to room, Markos had us checked in and there were shots in front of us. Set the tone for the holiday.
Small but brilliantly friendly hotel - the feel good vibe is evident always.
George's beaming smile and booming laugh at breakfast, Sia and Gregory taking over in the afternoon, Dimitri and his crazy nights - with Markos available to sort absolutely anything out for you and chucks in a free greek lesson or 2!!
Excellent value food and drink available, usual music and Karaoke at night - no issues with noise for us at all.
Greek night was fantastic - €15 for BBQ prepared by George - Soulvaki , greek sausage and pork belly - greek salad and tatziki - perfect.
Then the dancers - tremendous energy and crowd participation throughout - brilliant laugh. The plate smashing finale was hilarious!
They were just trialing a Latin dance lesson night so that may continue through season.
The bar is quiet until midnight then it's a very popular lively location - has a big reputation - in a good way. Even if not staying here you are made welcome.
The room was everything we needed, modern great air con, fridge kettle, lovely walk in shower. Kept the room on (til 8pm) only €40 - godsend with early evening pick up.
Pool area small but never issue getting beds, lovely vibe and music there.
You go to this hotel as a customer and leave as a friend - many are returning customers you can see why - will be back for sure.
Location is fantastic - 5 mins to crossroads bar and the bar at, 2mins more than that to beach. 5 mins right to supermarket and main square.
15 mins right to the east end beach bars and restaurants. 20 mins transfer - we were first drop and last pick up.

The most perfect place to stay!
What an amazing little place to stay! We have just returned from a three night last minute stay and already can’t wait to return! From the moment we arrived Markos and his team couldn’t do enough for us! Our room was absolutely wonderful! Spacious, clean and the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! The air conditioning was perfect and the large balcony overlooked the most beautiful church. Despite being a lively hotel we had no issue at all with sleep either! The location is spot on, just a short walk from the beach, harbour and many shops and bars…..the public bus stop is only 5 minutes away too. Each week they host a Greek night, this was so much fun and the bbq was delicious. The pool is also a great place to chill out, not too big with plenty of sun loungers and close to the bar for food/drink at very reasonable prices. I honestly do not have a bad word to say about the Origin, we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return! TUI’s rules mean that this is an adults only hotel due to the 24/7 bar availability, maybe TUI should re think this as this hotel is perfect for families with teens as the facilities and entertainment would be thoroughly enjoyed by all! It would also mean we could visit more often! Don’t hesitate to spend your next holiday here! Thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to see you again soon!

Great location, clean, lively.
We stayed here after a friend recommended it, pretty cheap hotel in a great location rooms were clean fresh bedding and couldn't ask for a better location. 2 minute walk to the square where the shops bars and restaurants are.
The staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them. It is a lively hotel at night which has a nightclub with karaoke etc and loud music.
Unfortunately we were located at the top of the stairwell which was very noisy as the music and other guests shouting echoing through the corridors and slamming the door to come up the stairs. (this should be changed to an anti slam door) But this did not ruin our stay we still enjoyed it.
The aircon was very good in the room and didn't leave us leaving stuffy or congested which was good! If you’re looking for a cheap lively hotel at night in close proximity to the centre this is the hotel for you.
(Its also about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which takes you to Kos town for €4.50)

Best shower
Lovely stay at the original staff are very curtious hotel very clean we had room 102 great air con Lovely room huge bathroom and a fab shower . No noise from bar really nice place and minutes from beach
