Wonderful hotel

Lovely location, brilliant breakfast, great staff, close to the beach and town, rooms cleaned every day and very accommodating with children. Thank you Sarantis, Zoe and Georgia for making our first family holiday so chilled and memorable. We will be back again next year!!

Worst experience of life

We stayed at the Sarantis Hotel from August 27 to September 1 (luckily only a few days), and unfortunately the experience was bad.
Upon our arrival, slightly earlier than the check-in time, the lady at the reception – without even saying goodbye – immediately objected to the fact that there were three people instead of two, demanding an extra payment. We were traveling with our one and a half year old, who obviously does not need a separate bed, does not use the pool or breakfast. In any serious establishment, infants are considered free guests, but here we found ourselves faced with a rigidity and rudeness never seen before.
We were even told that “children touch everywhere and it is a problem for them”. There was no way to argue: either we paid the extra or no check-in. We tried to contact Booking to mediate, but stayed hours outside the hotel, in the sun, with a tired and desperate child after a journey that began at 4am. Meanwhile, no one from the facility got up to offer us a glass of water or a place to wait. The lady simply said that “it’s their home and they make their own rules, it’s just business.”
In the end, in order not to stay on the street, we were forced to accept and pay the extra. Not only that: they forced us to cancel the reservation on Booking (presumably to avoid official negative reviews), making us fear even being kicked out.
The room was tiny, with very hard mattresses, rough cleaning (hair on the ground on our arrival), thin walls that let any noise through, noisy fridge and air conditioning working only when present in the room. In the bathroom a constant smell of sewer, forcing us to keep the window always open.
The breakfast is discreet but always identical and served with the suspicious eye of those who control every portion put on the plate.
At check-out I requested a regular receipt: they only gave us the one relating to the extra for the child, but nothing for the stay because – according to them – we had cancelled the reservation.
A total disaster, never experienced anywhere in the world before. Lack of professionalism, hospitality and above all humanity. Not recommended.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful hosts.

While traveling through Greece, we were fortunate enough to find a wonderful hotel in Chanioti in the Chalkidiki region in northern Greece. We stayed at this beautiful and updated hotel, (Sarantis Hotel) and met the wonderful family who owns and manages it, Sarantis and his daughter, Georgia. Thank you for your gracious hospitality. We highly recommend staying there. Everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the clean and well decorated rooms, the grounds and pool, the delicious breakfasts and the close proximity to the beach, shops and excellent restaurants.
Looking forward to returning in the future.

this hotel run by the family father mr sarantis and its daughther georgia.this family very warmly.georgia help me and advice about many thing in the area.breakfast excellent they clean the room every day nice swimingpool and good location.

Best hotel and hospitality

I had such a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The Sarantis family who own the hotel are incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can tell they truly care about their guests. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and always had a smile to share.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, tasty. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and has such a warm, inviting atmosphere.
It’s rare to find a place that combines comfort, great service, and genuine hospitality like this. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!
