Great service
My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 14 nights. The room was simply furnished but had a balcony to sit out on. Although we encountered some issues with plumbing they were dealt with as soon as possible and we were offered alternative bedrooms. The breakfast was good and all the public areas spotlessly clean and spacious. We loved the front terrace of the hotel with its garden. Our stay was under the most unfortunate circumstances after my husband was taken seriously ill on holiday and was admitted to the General Hospital, Corfu Town. This hotel is four minutes walk from the hospital entrance. We really valued the friendliness and constant care we were offered at the hotel, by Antonio, Dena and the lady who cleaned our room. It was excellent value.

Great hotel for the price you pay
Stayed for four nights. Very welcoming staff throughout on stay.
Good value for money.
Clean bedrooms which are serviced everyday. Access to balcony’s as standard. A/C and fridge in the room which is a necessity.
Breakfast from 8-10 is filling and a great start to the day.
We had rented a car to explore the entire island and used the car park next to the hotel. There’s also a small mini market just round the corner for your needs of drinks/snacks and most importantly ice cream.
About a 10 minute walk into Gouvia which was a present evening stroll back (attesting lighting all the way).
Will certainly stay again!

Friendly little hotel
Great no frills hotel with great transport links to the north of the island. Walking distance to Gouvia marina and the sea. Very friendly staff. The room was comfortable with good beds, TV, fridge, and aircon also free WiFi. The bus stop nearby has buses to town and all over the north of the island. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. It has a small carpark. It will become a regular stop for me.

Πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο
Φιλικό, ήσυχο και οικογενειακό περιβάλλον, ωραία και απλά δωμάτια. Το προσωπικό είναι φιλικό και πολύ εξυπηρετικό, γενικότερα είναι ένα πάρα πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο και με πολύ καλή σχέση τιμής-ποιότητας.
Cosy and quiet hotel with nice and simple rooms. Everyone was really friendly and happy to help. Very nice hotel. Not for someone who wants luxury though, it has a nice terrace and parking spaces.

A simple clean 2 star hotel ideal base for touring Corfu
Location
Hotel is only a short 5 /10 minute drive north of Corfu old town (the airport is some 4 kms south of Corfu) It is positioned a very short distance from the main road giving connections to most of the island - all areas of sightseeing are easily covered by car
Facilities
Hotel is 2 star and is basic but clean The downstairs comprises of a combined reception / small bar / lounge and eating area (the latter is where breakfast is taken) Outside is a good size patio (can be covered) for drinking and eating car parking is free of charge on adjacent land There is no lift to the three floors - there are approx 25 to 30 rooms We booked room 21 front of hotel with nice distant views to the modern marina and mountains Beds are firm and shower/toilet etc again basic but clean. Beds made up daily No safe deposit box in room Small tv and adequate wardrobe for clothes
We paid under 35 pounds per night including breakfast and taxes - this was for mid April There is no hot option for breakfast which consisted of bread / cheese and ham / cake / juice and coffee. Some people may find it repetitive but suited our needs - we only wanted somewhere to use as a base for touring the island The family running the hotel could not have been more helpful and friendly always eager to please
Corfu sightseeing - being a small island it is easy to cover the whole of Corfu by car over a few days We particularly liked Corfu old town nice historical areas / museums and lovely views to the sea along the promenade Very pleasant atmosphere with a mixture of tourist and designer shops Parking was relatively easy at this time of year - April is still winter in Corfu so not sure how is easy parking would be in the summer
The eastern coastline north of Corfu is pretty but personally did not like the northern area around Sidari to Roda an area spoilt by British tourist influence The North West area is well worth visiting particularly Paleokastritsa and nearby Monastery The Southern part of the island is less appealing from what we saw and unless you want to experience an 18-30 club avoid Kavos!
Most of the facilities all over the island were closed - the main tourist season does not start until May but suited us being very quiet Driving very easy but the roads are full of potholes so beware!!
Corfu appears to be suffering from the recession In a lot of areas it gives the appearance of being run down but in rustic way There are many uncompleted buildings but does not detract from the overall impression of Corfu which is well worth visiting The people were extremely helpful
