Abella Suites
We absolutely loved our stay at Abella Suites and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Embona.
The hotel is a beautiful, modern boutique property right in the heart of the village, making it the perfect base for exploring everything Embona has to offer. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome by the wonderful staff, whose friendliness and kindness made our stay even more special.
Our suite was spotless, stylish and incredibly comfortable. Every little detail had been thoughtfully provided, from toothbrushes and shaving kits to shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. There was also tea, coffee and a lovely complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us, which was a really thoughtful touch.
It’s clear that the owners take great pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the hotel. We left feeling relaxed, well looked after and already talking about coming back. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Abella suites a Breath of fresh mountain air
Set just off the main square in the village of Embonas you find a gem of a hotel small but perfectly formed.
From the moment you arrive you are welcomed like family by friendly staff who show you to your accommodation and make sure that everything you need is ready
Rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable plenty of storage space, coffee making facilities, toiletries are high quality (olive era) lovely soft towels and fluffy robes.
The small bar serves a good selection of drinks especially enjoyable were the local wines and it was very pleasant sitting watching village life in the evenings
Being just off the main square there are two tavernas close by we had an evening meal in Taverna Savas also an excellent bakery serving coffee and excellent pastries.

A perfect weekend!
We had an amazing weekend at Abella Suites and would definitely recommend it! The room is brand new, modern, stylish, super quiet, and spotless, just like the photos. What really makes it special is the vibe of the village and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere of the property. The team offers genuine Greek hospitality and makes you feel right at home.
Breakfast was a highlight.
Traditional Greek, fresh, and local.
Everything from the eggs and bread to the salad and freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. The coffee was excellent too. Honestly, everything exceeded our expectations.
The location is perfect: Embonas is famous for its wine, olive oil, and local meats. The suites are right in the heart of the village, with everything you could want nearby. It’s also easy to explore neighboring villages and beautiful spots around Rhodes. The Castle of Monolithos at sunset and Apolakkia Dam are absolute musts!

We had a wonderful weekend in Abella•Suites
We had a wonderful weekend in Abella•Suites. We totally recommend it. First of all, the room is brand new (since 2025).
Everything is modern and stylish, as in the pictures and very quiet and clean. The most important thing is that you feel the vibe of the village, the coziness and the warmth of the property and its soul, the people cordially offering Greek hospitality.
The breakfast is traditional Greek and delicious. The ingredients were local and fresh. The eggs, the bread, the salad, the fresh squeezed orange juice. The coffee was also great. Literally everything was amazing.
Last but not least, the location: Embonas in Rhodes is well known for its top quality wine, oil and meat. The suites are located right in the centre of the village and you can find everything you love nearby. You can also visit other neighbouring villages and beautiful landmarks of Rhodes Island. The Castle of Monolithos with the outstanding sunset and the Apolakkia Dam are “musts”.

Excellent
My stay at Abela Suites – Embonas was excellent. I stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi, which was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The breakfast was amazing, with great quality and variety, and the service from the staff was impeccable—always friendly and helpful. I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would definitely choose it again. Highly recommended!
