Granted, this is a more budget place to stay but it was extremely below average.
The biggest issue with the hotel is its location. Yes, it is very close to the beach, but it is not widely advertised that it is located uphill. For those who are extremely fit, this is not a problem, but the hill is very very steep (more of a climb) and is at least 250 metres in length. By the time you reach your room, you are dripping with sweat! If staying here I would really recommend hiring a motorbike or car (we made the mistake of not doing so).
The room itself is very basic. The shower is small with a shower curtain, which is not efficient and allows the entire bathroom to flood.
There is no restaurant or food options on site. The nearest place to purchase food is the supermarket at the bottom of the hill. Again, this is no problem if you have hired a motorbike or car, but on foot this is a chore and not enjoyable when you’re wishing for a relaxing holiday.
When we arrived, the room was full of mosquitos. Yes, the room came equipped with mosquito spray but this is not a deterrent and there should not have been mosquitoes in the room or bathroom!
Another issue is the WiFi. The wifi did not work well at all. It was extremely on and off, perhaps 5 minutes on and 10 off. We let the owner know of this issue and she did instruct a technician to “fix” it, but it did nothing.
Whilst the room came with a laminated card with the owners personal phone number, this was a pointless addition as she did not reply to any correspondence via WhatsApp. We messaged and phoned multiple times to ask simple questions (eg to order a taxi to the airport), but she would read the messages and not reply. It’s a shame really as, upon checking in, you are really left to your own devices.
It seemed as though the laminated information cards were purely for advertising the owners restaurant on the island and her son’s bike rental company. The “message me if you need anything” seemed just a throwaway comment, which was a shame.
As the location is quite a way from the airport, I do suggest pre booking this as the owner is no help when booking or arranging taxis.
The cleaners were lovely, though often came very late in the afternoon, when we had been out and come back so there were a couple of days where our room was not cleaned as we were occupying it. They did move a few of our personal items.

Very bad hotel.
The hostess is crazy.
Each room has large gas tanks.
The cylinders leaked gas, we could explode or suffocate.
Very bad place.
The view is very dirty.
Never use this hotel.

Your attitude was pretty bad from the beginning of the arrangement, although you still haven't pay yet for your reservations you do have the audacity to leave a review for my house...
No matter what you say you know the truth as you admited and apologized last year...
