A comfortable little island in the middle of an island……

A true haven of peace! Everything is neat and pleasant. The rooms with a private pool are very pretty and comfortable. This beautiful complex of houses has a lot of charm. The neighborhood, for its part, is charmless and seems to be under construction.
Breakfast is unfortunately not exceptional: the products have no real flavor, but it remains acceptable.
An address to choose for a short stay on the island of Milos.

Excellent location, beautiful hotel, service could be slightly better

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are large. It is walking distance from the port and bus station. Very conveniently located. The staff (Nicky) came to pick us up at the port when we arrived by ferry. Only issues we faced were a) Nicky did not tell us that breakfast was included or any details about it so for the first two days we did not have breakfast at the hotel. Only on the last day we realised that our booking included breakfast, which I think should have been clearly informed at the time of check in. b) Our private pool was out of order for most of the stay - the water was murky and green. On the last day they called someone to fix it but it was too late to enjoy the pool.

Honeymoon Stay

This place was absolutely amazing, they drove us from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the port to catch our ferry. The room was very clean and cute, with everything we needed. The staff was super polite and helpful, the atmosphere was great for sitting outside, and a great spot to park our ATV. They even helped us ship something home that we forgot in the room.

Traditional Stay

We stayed in this hotel in late May for two separate nights, bookending a trip to Kimolos. The hotel is located in the countryside to the north of the port of Adamantos. Our accommodation was a Traditional Mini Suite set in a two storey building around a central courtyard. We understand there are several other types of accommodation available. The buildings are traditionally Cycladic. The hotel provides a discounted port transfer but is reachable on foot with a 20-30 minute walk carrying luggage. The walk is mainly on the flat but it does use the main road and is neither pleasant nor completely safe. For guests with their own vehicle there is car parking. At ground level as were our rooms, there are no real views but in the accommodation at higher levels there are vistas across Milos. Guests with mobility issues may find Milos and the hotel a difficult experience, guests using wheelchairs might struggle.
The reception area is in a small building by the courtyard and is admirably staffed by pleasant, professional people. The hotel is seemingly operated by an organisation with wider interests on the island and this affords any guest the opportunity for road and boat trips and various holiday experiences. The hotel was not full during our stay and given that May is really still low season we suspect not all the facilities of the hotel were available. There was no bar. Our transfer to and from the port of Pollonia for the ferry to Kimolos was arranged and executed by the reception staff for a very reasonable price.
Both rooms were spacious, each had a kitchen area with a sofa/bed for easy seating. In one instance the kitchen area was a separate room. We did not use the kitchens at all. Other furnishings were minimal but each room had generous wardrobe space and a safe. The bed was comfortable with acceptable linen.
Both our bathrooms were a little intimidating although each worked perfectly well. There was a sink, a walk in shower and WC all in the one room. The WC had a high-level cast-iron cistern of considerable efficiency but no little noise! Both bathrooms had external opening windows but were painted throughout (save for the ceiling) in a battleship grey and the window did not afford much illumination. That said everything was clean and in good condition. Towels and toiletries were acceptable. Despite the hardness of the surfaces in the rooms we experienced no room to room noise, little noise form the courtyard (this may not be the case in high season) and no noise from the surroundings.
Each room had an external area – one was huge – with chairs and a table.
Breakfast is served in the courtyard and is wholly a la carte. Servings were generous and included both hot and cold items. No other meals were served.
Within 5 minutes’ walk of the hotel there is a Greek restaurant. We ate there and food was good. Returning to the port there are innumerable restaurants, bars, shops and the like serving every need.
As far as we were able to determine no tour company buys rooms but if groups were to stay we believe the hotel would accommodate them without detriment to other guests because of its layout.
Staff were not in great numbers when we stayed but those we did encounter ensured that we were comfortable and looked after and all had good English.
For the time we were in Milos this was an economically priced lodging. It provides a base for many activities and carefully chosen rooms could provide day long comfort. For us this hotel was simply a room for the night but the kindness of the staff enhanced our stay and made it thoroughly enjoyable.

Generous, kind hosts of a beautiful property.

Stamati and his family are wonderful, generous hosts. We came during the winter season and had the entire place to ourselves. The suite itself was clean, new, and perfectly equipped with basic kitchen necessities. The propery was very quiet, with beautiful views, and an easy 5 minute walk to the port, restaurants, and grocery. Stamati was so kind to take us all around the island since there was no car rental service available in March. He also owns two sailboats and told us of tours he offers around the island (in summer only).
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Milos!
