Love it.. lovely place.. lovely people

Amazing stay in June so much so we are returning in September. The family are lovely.. The hotel is lovely and authentic.. Leftis is constantly on the go maintaining the grounds and cleaning the pool daily well before anyone ventures down. I’d often see him at 6am cleaning. The rooms are what you pay for and think the reviews from some are daft. You’re paying a certain amount but expect 5 star. Myself and my partner cannot wait to return! We met the loveliest people. The family can’t do enough for you. It’s a little piece of heaven!

Lovely family

Hired a car from the airport and made our own way to the hotel, easy to find and signposted on main road. Met by leftie and check in was quick and easy.
Leftie and family are lovely, they work so hard all day, especially leftie, he never seems to stop.
Breakfast time you choose ftom a menu and its freshly cooked for you, so dont expect a usual self serve buffet.
The pool is lovely and clean and plenty of beds available, you dont need to get up and save a bed before they've all gone.
The rooms are very basic, but have everything you need, the shower is very small and not a lot of room to move around, the temperature is also very hard to control and it drops to freezing and then to scalding hot in seconds throughout your shower, so be mindful if your children are showering..
I love small family run hotels and this was perfect in that aspect. It had everything you need for a nice chilled holiday.

Basic of basics

I’ve stayed at many basic hotels in Greece but this is basic of basics we stayed in a ground floor room with no view apart from the overgrown garden I’ve given 2stars due to it being clean and the location. The resort is really nice and plenty of places to eat
I would return but in a different hotel

0 star for this one and would never ever go stay there again even for free !!!

We arrived at approximately 12.00 midnight and when we got there it was pitch black and no lights whatsoever . I was with my children and asked the hotel manager . Is there any lighting ? He replied “ we don’t have the lights on at night “ then when we got into the room .everything was old fashioned definitely needs refurbishing down to the beds . It was like sleeping on a concrete slab and the pillows ridiculous , the aircon set with no remote . The television set at volume 20 with a block on it . The balcony view is bushes covering the whole front of the hotel ,the bathroom shower dont maintain a flow of hot water it keeps going up and down . No hand wash , shower gel , shampoo the manager said we don’t supply anything thats your responsibility . I wouldn’t go back to that hotel for free as a goodwill gesture! Worst hotel I have ever been to in my whole life and I stayed in a lot as I used to Do wedding events and travel ! Avoid Avoid Avoid !

Authentic Greek holiday

We have just spent 6 days at Leftis Romantika staying in a studio apartment with breakfast included. The rooms are clean and spacious and our towels and bedding were changed twice during our stay. Great value for travellers who don’t want to spend their money staying in soulless all-inclusive resorts. The hotel is in a great location for the public beach, the centre of Moraitika and only a 50m walk to the bus top if you want to take the local bus to Kerkyra. Lefteris works so hard and is welcoming and if you want a truly authentic Greek holiday I would recommend Leftis Romantica as a place to stay.
