Good place for rest with great beach nearby

This is one of the best places to travel in Greece. The owner and his wife are perfect people who will help you with all your problems and thay are very talkative. They told you where is the best sea foods or whare are the best beaches nearby. The hotel has a very good location and has a swimming pool. They have, a nice beach nearby (200 m). All rooms ware very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was taste and hotel have protected parking. Good place for rest :) I aproved

Unfriendly arrogant and dishonest place

We spend 6 days in this beautiful house. The place was ok but staff was really unfriendly. They even claimed that we had broken one table and said we have to pay 50 euros. When asking to show the damage they said they had fixed it already.
On the swimming pool there were also weird rules which changes according to the customers (men were treaded differently from women).
They refused to give extra blankets (there were only one blanket and four of us per room). They commented that we should clean our room before the cleaner comes.
I have never been in a hotel of that bad service and behavior. If you choose this hotel be careful don’t let them cheat you and stay strong when they are demanding absurd things and threatening you.

Opinion on experience with the owners as well as the locality

Not a bad hotel in itself, have had good experience at the beginning, the room was old furnished and not as nice as thought but that did not bother us.
However, we had 16 hours no water, no electricity and no information why, we could not use climate conditions or showers at about 42 degrees.
We had ruled ourselves out one night as we only got a key and forgot it in the power connection where we need to connect it to have power in the room. It was about 23:30 when we called the hotel, because at the time the website said that a 24/7 reception is ready. As a result, the owner came storming out of the hotel, yelling at me and giving me a lecture on how disrespectful it is to forget your key and how to allow such a thing.
Apart from that, I personally cannot recommend the hotel as it is much too remote, I would rather recommend the hotels in the city of Platamonas because in the high summer phase it is already hard to get a taxi there at 23:00.

You can find better one, than this

As the owner found time to threat me via phone, i find time and share the review also here.
We found this place on booking based on good reviews on this platform.
Overall review - overpriced and not worth themoney, pick another hotel.
Here is why:
Pros:
Good location (close to beach, shops, ...)
Nice premises (pool, terrace, breakfast area)
Room cleaned every day, fresh towels
Room seems to be newly renovated
Watermelon and grapes for breakfast (only highlight on the bf)
Cons
Shower is missing curtains, so the bathroom is flooded after each use
Breakfast was biggest disappointment
Coffee from the machine was terrible
2 option of juices from machine tasted aritifical or at least like cheap sirup
Pastry very dry and hard (including french toast)
Overall very limited variety = 1 type per item - cheese, ham, bacon, egg, cornflakes, milk
Each and every day the same
1 card per room - you are advised to stay together....
Thus no charging ypur devices or cooling out the room while you are out.
No lift after 23:00 - could be unfit for people with bags, strollers or dissabilities
The reception is closed and lift from other entrance too
Once you checked out, there is no storage for your bags. The owner leave them behind the bar and promis to watch them. It does not feel very safe
Showers and toilets outside rooms for checked out guests are nightmare...
Dirty, including spiders and insects. Impossible to lock the shower cubicle, the lights in cubicle are not working, plaster is falling of the walls...
Internet connection is very slow
But the cherry on the top is the owner, who is watching you on every step.
He is nice only to the point, when you pay and require nothing. He ha the audacity to ask you for review and call you and swear to the phone, once the review is not according his expectation.
Once we came back home and read more feedbacks for this hotel, there have been plenty complaints of his intimidation and rude behaviour towards customers.
Unfortunately, we found the bad ones too late.

Disgraceful hotel

This hotel is absolute trash. The bed was as hard as a rock and no proper duvet was just given a rug type blanket. Anyone sleeping on this bed will get a bad back ache.
Furthermore it is also advertised incorrectly and doesn't provide half the services listed.
The owner/manager speaks very bad English and think he's deaf. I booked for 3 nights but left after the 1st to another hotel 5mins away.... Olympic star which is brilliant. Zeus hotel didn't even refund me for 2 nights and charged me 20 euros for loosing room card. It is honestly an insult to zeus almighty (Greek god) to even use his name for this hotel
