Lichnos Beach Parga well worth serious consideration.

A very friendly and welcoming hotel on a stunning beach. Good food and wine. We had room 1108 which is very spacious with a lovely sea view from the balcony and handy for the beach and restaurant. The hotel is set into the steep hill down to the beach with reception at the top and the relatively small pool just at the bottom of the main block. If we go back we would definitely have the same room the as the walk up the hill is draining. The beach is a coarse sand which although not as soft to walk on does come off your feet easily when you come to put your shoes back on. They have a great system for sun beds on the shore with the grade of your room determining the location. There is no dawn rush for the best spots. The dining is a buffet style and I would worry about questions when the hotel is at full capacity. There are 2 very good restaurants on the beach Coral and Enjoy Lichnos (which is the restaurant for the other hotel Enjoy Lichnos Bay) and a 3rd we didn't use. There is also a small supermarket . The water taxi to nearby Parga is a great way to get to the town however the local taxis also provide an excellent service and the cost was just 10 euros for the four of us. Parga itself is a delight with quaint painted buildings and lots of very good restaurants. we enjoyed a meal at Carvel and a drink with a view at Med. We hired a boat at Valtos beach which is just the other side of Parga. The sand there is softer but its much busier. There are several small coves you can more up by and have a swim and snorkel.

Terrible

Our stay at Linchos Beach Hotel & Suites was a major disappointment. We feel we were misled by the carefully staged promotional photos and social media presentation, which are far removed from the reality.
For a resort charging €500 per night, the condition of the rooms is completely unacceptable. Mold is present in the bathroom, while the bed upholstery is dirty, worn and torn. The overall impression is one of neglect rather than comfort or cleanliness.
The hotel manager’s attitude made the experience even worse. When we requested a cleaner room due to serious concerns about mold and hygiene, she became confrontational and told us: “This is the kind of room you paid €500 for.” Considering that €500 is charged per night, we found this response completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
The food was mediocre and certainly did not match the expectations created by the hotel’s image. The beach access is via a poorly maintained lift in which we actually got stuck, raising serious concerns about safety. The beach itself is extremely overcrowded, with sun loungers placed so tightly together that there is virtually no privacy.
In addition, guests should be aware that the resort attracts many families with very young children, and the constant crying and screaming, including late in the evening, made relaxation difficult during our stay.
Our advice is simple: do not rely on the promotional photos. Read recent guest reviews carefully before booking. For us, Linchos Beach Hotel & Suites was absolutely not worth €500 per night, and it is a choice we would never make again.

Relaxing holiday

I feel like I should write a review given the number of negative reviews.
The hotel is lovely in a gorgeous setting. We had a family junior suite which was very spacious. This also meant we got priority front row beds on the beach.
The service is amazing. Call buttons on the beach for drinks and snacks.
We found the food to be lovely. At breakfast the hotel has a machine for freshly made orange juice.
There are couple of bar/restaurants close to the hotel which were very good. We got taxis into Parga a few evenings, which was lovely.
Due to a late flight on the last day, the hotel agreed to a late check out which was very much appreciated.
My only comment would be, water should be supplied in the room daily in addition to coffee pods.
Would recommend this hotel for a complete relaxation holiday.

Extremely disappointing – nowhere near a 5-star experience
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I feel it is important to be completely honest.
The biggest issue is that this hotel simply does not live up to its 5-star rating. The beautiful location and surrounding nature create high expectations, but unfortunately, almost everything beyond the beach falls far below the standard you would expect from a luxury resort.
The room was extremely basic. The minibar was not prepared, and the overall condition and presentation of the room felt much closer to a standard 3-star property than a 5-star hotel. There was very little attention to detail, which is exactly what differentiates a luxury hotel from an average one.
The hotel itself felt neglected and poorly maintained in several areas. There was no sense of luxury, refinement or attention to detail.
For families, the kids club was particularly disappointing. It was tiny, boring and offered very little for children. Calling it a kids club gives the wrong impression — it felt more like a small room with very limited activities. For a resort that clearly welcomes families, this is simply not good enough.
The food was by far one of the biggest disappointments. The variety and quality were nowhere near what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. Some days there was fish at lunch, but on other days the buffet seemed to revolve around the same basic dishes — stuffed eggplant, beans and pork. At the beach, the food selection was even worse, with very few options that were genuinely appealing.
Breakfast was equally disappointing. There was soup for breakfast, yet there was no proper baby-food section or even a decent selection of simple foods suitable for babies. We literally had to ask for a banana, and finding avocado seemed like asking for something extraordinary. For a family resort, this should not be considered a luxury.
The service was another major disappointment. Staff at the beach, restaurant and other areas often appeared tired, uninterested and completely lacking initiative. Instead of anticipating guests’ needs, you had to repeatedly call someone over just to receive basic service. This is not what 5-star hospitality looks like.
The experience at reception was not much better. One of the reception staff members had a rather artificial and overly delicate manner of communicating, which unfortunately did not translate into genuine professionalism. When looking for our reservation, he even asked whether we might be staying at another hotel and was almost ready to send us away. Not exactly the welcome you expect after a long journey.
We also had repeated problems with the room key card, which stopped working several times. On more than one occasion, we were left having to look for assistance and even disturb neighbouring guests because we could not properly access our room.
To be fair, the beach and the surrounding nature are beautiful. This is genuinely the strongest point of the property. The location has enormous potential.
But beautiful nature cannot compensate for poor service, basic rooms, disappointing food, inadequate facilities for children and a general lack of attention to detail.
After staying at many hotels, I can honestly say that this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
The hotel may have the location and the natural beauty to become something special, but based on our experience, it is nowhere near a 5-star standard. Not even close.
The five stars feel completely undeserved.

A good hotel

Excellent hotel, splendid location, comfortable and very clean room, abundant but not varied breakfast.
The only flaws: the beach was not very clean, umbrellas were too close to each other, and there was no shuttle to the center of Parga.
