In Galatis Hotel with social tourism
The location of the hotel is excellent. It is literally next to the sea and is less than 8 minutes' walk from Alykis, where there are beautiful taverns, a café and the harbour from which the boat trips begin.
The room was beautiful,not missing anything during our stay. If I had to mention a little personal preference, it would have been to have a double layer instead of two single joined.
The food was really very delicious. Both at breakfast and the rest of the day that operates as a restaurant the food was quality and tasty.
But what stands out most was hospitality. All staff, as well as the owner, were polite, always willing to help and with a smile, making us feel really welcome.
We had six wonderful days and we left with the best impressions. Thank you very much for the lovely hospitality and we will definitely be happy to visit you again!

Unfavorable review
Unhygienic bathroom, presence of mold inside and outside the shower, the sink not fixed and moving 15 cm up and down, dirty tiles
Pool not cleaned, presence of marks at the bottom and on the sides; the next day when I swam, I had the beginning of an ear infection
We were on half board; the dinner was fixed with no choice, every day fries and watermelon for dessert, nothing very nice reflecting Greek specialties
Under the mattress, there is no box spring, just a plywood board
The keys are locked with the card for electricity, so when we left the room, the fridge and air conditioning stopped working as soon as the door was closed
The water is not drinkable, but the management sells you bottles of water for 2 euros, while the same bottle is 1 euro at the newsstand across the street, and not even a complimentary bottle to welcome you
The owner offered us a quad rental for 80 euros, while the rental companies charge 40 euros
The owner asks to pay the tourist tax in cash, 5 euros per day, a tax that she pockets; when I asked for a receipt, she frowned but gave it to me, resulting in 15 euros over three days
So that ends up being -15 euros, which gives us 0

Absolutely avoid the travel team Héliades
We went on vacation with family to Santorini and Paros. The Galatis hotel in Paros is completely outdated and unworthy of the 3-star hotel we expected to find. Cracked walls, broken tiles, rusty plumbing, detached shower mosaic, impossible-to-close bathroom door, broken balcony door, broken screen, etc... Miserable breakfast. Almost nothing to eat even at 9 AM. The owner showed no interest in our request regarding the balcony door, so we did not attempt anything else. A person from the Héliades group confirms to us that it is well known. "Customers constantly report the dilapidated state of the Galatis hotel." We report it to the Héliades group but nothing changes." Indeed, there are only French guests in the hotel. Upon returning, we filed a complaint through the travel agency but have received absolutely no response for 2 months!

1* for location since the cleanliness & service are unknown!
The only positive was the location next to an excellent sea in Alyki & the close access to the country!
The cleanliness was non-existent, the sheets were never changed on the contrary we dropped 2 when we requested change & we demanded clean towels every 2days.
But the worst was the lack of respect & politeness from the entire staff.
The owner is indifferent, the person in charge at the reception is reluctant & not willing to help.
The poor breakfast, without variety, with the same products every day.
The room was old and neglected, with mold on the walls of the bathroom, rust in the refrigerator, burned lamps, the air conditioner was under-functioning, old scratched furniture, taps that stabbed, as ants and insects in the space circulated unhindered...
The pool did not appear to be properly kept and the sun loungers were broken and in poor condition, we did not risk our health to climb.
Because the accommodation was next to the road, we did not feel safe because we were stolen swimsuit & beachwear spread from the balcony of the ground floor, attention circulating foreigners in the area.
It was through the DYPA social tourism program and we felt that we did not receive the same attention and service that we would receive if we paid 100€+ per night.
Overall, the property needs immediate renovation, better maintenance, cleanliness & extra staff, not enough 2 waitresses who are lazy, besides they do not understand Greek well to understand...
We would never choose it again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Not as expected
Would not recommend this place to others and not choose half pension it is a waste of money
