Calm, aesthetic & authentic hospitality

From the moment we arrived, we felt that we had made the best choice. Easy access though it was midnight we were waiting & escorted to the room, it was really special, with a slim, monastic aesthetic that combined natural wood and modern details. A place that breathed peace and elegance, ideal for relaxing and enjoying your holidays.
The hospitality was excellent from the first to the last minute. On arrival we were expected a cool fruit salad as a welcome, while last night we were offered a bottle of wine, a very nice move that shows that they really care about their guests.
The cleanliness was perfect every day and there was absolutely nothing missing. The room had a small, fully equipped kitchenette, plenty of towels for bathroom, face, hands and sea, as well as all the necessary care products & piston / iron.
The pool and the jacuzzi were the perfect place for moments of relaxation.
What really makes this hotel stand out is not only its beautiful spaces and amenities, but the hospitality it leaves. It is one of those places that not only offer a stay, but create memories.

Pleasant stay, very helpful people, fabulous room, new and very clean. Nice experience in the hot tub. Area away from the tourist chaos and quiet. Absolutely everything positive

Great quiet location with excellent amenities. The apartment was well appointment, very clean and equipt with everything you could need to have a really relaxing stay. The staff are super friendly and very accomodating and are a standout!

100% stop looking at other hotels & stay here!!!! Everything was truly beautiful. The owner/ front desk staff (Carolina, her husband, and the other staff member Spyros) are beyond welcoming & accommodating. They made our stay there special & unique. The location is more remote & a little bit away from most tourist areas & we LOVED that. It is literally only a few minutes walk from the black sand beach. A short drive or little longer walk to glorious beach front restaurants. The pools were lovely (both the big pool & the private patio pool). I appreciated the AC working well, but the sea breezes & having the windows open during our trip mid to late May was perfect (we did get many mosquito bites - it was totally worth it!!). Parking was easy with their own small parking lot that they were able to send the coordinates to via WhatsApp. The hotel itself was beautifully designed with sophisticated touches. We felt pampered by having robes & slippers provided & the shampoo/ body wash, conditioner, & lotion scent was very pleasant & great quality!

A wonderful stay at Hotel Penarosa

We loved the apartments: spacious, clean and fully equipped for your stay. Service was excellent, always attentive and friendly. In particular, we want to thank Carolina, whose treatment was lovely; she made us feel at home. Also, the typical sweet that he offered us was delicious. Everything was great from our arrival to the end of the stay. Without a doubt, a place we would return to and we totally recommend to enjoy Santorini.
