This is an amazing place! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was 5 stars. If we ever get to go back we will stay here again.

The champions of deception

We had booked a suite with a sea view. In the description, there was supposed to be a separate bedroom and a living room with a sofa, a coffee machine... We were presented with a large room (superior room type), with a flawless bathroom and a large terrace. Everything was very clean. But... no separate bedroom, no sofa, no coffee machine (a kettle served in its place). We still accepted the room. Mistake! The nighttime serenade delivered by the outdated fridge made us regret it.
Moreover, at dawn we benefited from the first offensives of the sun; a small window located high up and lacking a blackout curtain let in a stream of light that was not conducive to continuing a night that was already difficult.
The next day, we certainly expressed our disappointment at the front desk.
The innkeeper pretended not to understand when I put the description she had prepared right in front of her...
Faced with our persistent bad mood, she offered us a room change. As a grand gesture, she offered us the "Honeymoon Suite," which we declined. It was a large room with two armchairs, but no sofa, featuring an indoor "jacuzzi." The latter, placed in front of the window, made closing the blackout curtains quite random unless one took a bath at that moment. The killer detail: the room literally reeked of chlorine. Might as well sleep by a covered municipal pool...
Finally, she proposed a "studio"; in fact, a medium-sized room, flanked by a minimalist kitchenette and a tiny bathroom. The whole place had been (poorly) renovated not long ago. The door frames had not been changed and showed their great age. In the floor, there were holes with electrical cables cut flush, and in the bathroom, remnants of the old plumbing...
On the other hand, there was no annoying window and the fridge was silent. We therefore accepted this makeshift solution.
Fortunately, in the immediate surroundings, there are many establishments that are often newer and at comparable prices, with descriptions that match reality... After numerous stays in Greece, particularly in the Cyclades, this is indeed the first time that such a misadventure has befallen us! To a good listener...

Staff are the most friendly and welcoming people! Nicolas set us up with so many excursions, rentals, and gave us the best places to visit. The room was clean and very nice looking. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants too!

The rooms and the common areas were sparkling clean. The hotel staff, especially Zafira at the front desk, were accommodating, helpful, and kind. The room and bathroom or large, comfortable and beautifully appointed.While the view was lovely, it is not as direct of the Caldera as the much more expensive hotels in Fira or Oia would be. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Hostess was very helpful to book transportation and other needs. Property is away from the major areas making it quiet. Car needed to get around.
