Wonderful holiday in Villa Melia
I stayed the last week of September
The Owner kindly picked us up at the airport on arrival and brought back to the return
He got us the car at a very advantageous price
The first night we didn't have the car he drove us to Skiathos Town himself
The room was spacious comfortable spotless (every day was cleaned and tidied up) with a terrace with a truly priceless panoramic view.
I think it was the best accommodation since I went to the Greek islands
Highly Recommendation and again thank Akis and her mom for the wonderful welcome and hospitality

Lovely quiet villa - with friendly owner
What a lovely place this is! The villa is located about three miles out of Skiathos town, close to bus stop 7 on the right hand side of the road as you drive from Skiathos. You make a very sharp turn and drive up a very steep road for a few hundred yards to the villa. The location is superb with a quiet terrace, bar, garden and pool offering stunning views over the bay towards the town. There is plenty of free car parking if you rent a car, as I did. The villa itself is a large building which is immaculately kept. My room overlooked the bay and had a small balcony with two chairs and a table. Inside were two single beds, a wardrobe, small desk for working, bedside cabinets, and a small kitchen area. This had a kettle, fridge and hob with two hot plates. Adequate cutlery and crockery. The bathroom was OK - reasonable shower and washbasin and toilet. My room was clean, functional and serviced every day. Personally, I would have preferred a better desk for using my laptop. Akis is a most friendly owner. He greeted me personally, told me what was worth seeing, gave advice about beaches to use and could not have been more welcoming. He does serve coffee and toasties for breakfast - and also drinks in the evening if you want. Personally, I bought food for a local supermarket for breakfast and for sandwiches during the day. I loved this place. It was quiet, sensibly priced (£321 for 7 nights in September) but this did not include breakfast. I came to Skiathos for some late summer sunshine, beaches, swimming and aircraft photography at the amazing runway end. I would come here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect from start to finish!
My son and I hade a great long weekend at Villa Melia. Everything was just right, from the moment Akis picked us up from the airport until he dropped us off 4 days later. The apartment was not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination, but it was comfortable, air conditioned and the view from our private terrace was spectacular! Akis gave us breakfast every morning, on the sun terrace by the pool looking out over the Aegean Sea. A large cafetiere of coffee and a cheese and ham toastie each for 10 euros. The pool was perfect and there is a pool bar and sun loungers.
There is a nice beach across the road at the bottom of the hill called Little Vassilios with a beach bar, and you can get a water taxi from the beach to Skiathos town where there are other Water taxis to other beaches. This is a great way to travel around the island. There is also a bus stop (no. 7) at the bottom of the hill which will take you into town or further down the island to the various beaches for a few euros. We had a great time!

Very pleasant surprise
A beautiful house in a lovely location. Everything was spotless. A nice pool with bar and a great view. Not far from Skiathos town , on the road leading to the most beautiful beaches of the island , therefore in a strategic position to combine both social life and relaxation by the sea

Amazing!!!
Amazing hotel in nature with great views, you can enjoy the pool with sea views, very careful, clean and beautiful. The host-owner is very polite. Very good quality of stay, very good price !!!
