We had a great time.From the very first moment, we felt like guests and not like customers.Egyptian willing and especially helpful the entire family of the owners.Five clean rooms with simultaneous bathroom and close to the center.Excellent breakfast!!!!!!!

A magical stay I wish had been longer
I had a such a lovely stay here in late April. I was greeted by Carolina who offered me a hiking trails map. I didn’t even know the island had hiking trails. I stayed in the large apartment and I loved the spaciousness of it and the views from the two patios. I didn’t mind the moped noise, to me it was like hearing your neighbor mow his yard. It was quiet at night and I had the most restful sleep with my earplugs in. They have a little library and I chose a good book to read. They didn’t mind that I would check off everything on the breakfast menu every morning. The breakfast was so delicious and I appreciated the home made jam and bread. One morning the grandmother baked a special cake. I rented an e-bike from next door and Kalomira showed me where to park it and set up an electric cord so I could charge it. I asked where is the best beach to go swimming and she patiently showed me her favorite beach on the map. I couldn’t find the cave she told me about so the grandfather drew a detailed map for me. Speaking of the grandfather, we had several lovely conversations and the whole family helped me with my Greek, which they say is a very hard language. One day I took advantage of the laundry service and it was nicely done at a very reasonable price. I felt 100% safe as a solo female traveler, not just at the villa but also walking at night to go to local restaurants. In terms of the island, I went sailing one day and there was a whole pod of dolphins jumping around our boat. I went horseback riding and we got caught in the rain so I tracked a bunch of mud on the pretty marble stairs and they were all clean the next day. I went on a lovely hike past a pretty church, views and wildflowers galore. One of the highlights was biking the circumference of the island on the peaceful country road. I saw a herd of goats, another time a herd of sheep, a peacock, and people out riding horses. I biked around twice, first counter clockwise and then clockwise. I frequently stopped to take photographs of the beautiful vistas. The island has park benches along the road where you can picnic. I was in Greece for two weeks and I was only at the Villa for five nights but in hindsight I would have been perfectly content to stay at the Villa the whole two weeks. The island is easily accessible by ferry from Athens. I hope someday to return!

Enjoyable stay
This is a wonderful find. Family owned, very nice and kind people. It is a bit of a walk from the ferry maybe a mile or so and near a busy street. This island is full of scooters so it is noisy in many areas. I was concerned because I like quiet especially at night and it turned out to be very quiet. It is very safe with walls around it and even has it's own church inside, very interesting if you are lucky enough to see it when it is opened. I believe it is a family church but there is a covered door to the outside but maybe that is when family has a celebration and locals come. Breakfast is included and it was very good too.

Just perfect!
This small family hotel is just perfect. The rooms are excellent and there is everything supplied you could wish for. Obviously, a lot of though has been given into the facilities. All toiletries and little extras supplied, plug-ins (mosquito-repellant), crockery/cutlery, an iron/ironing board in a cupboard to use if you wished, beach towels loaned, provided in a tote bag - there is absolutely nothing to want for.
Kalomira is such a lovely person and perfect host, she makes you feel so welcome and part of the family. Lovely breakfast on the communal patio, we were handed a comprehensive list to tick off everything we wanted and it was all brought, beautifully presented, fresh to the table, including home-made jam and Cretan peanut butter.
If we return to Spetses we would definitely return here, no doubt about it. It was our best accommodation throughout our whole month island-hopping!

Villa Kalomira is an outstanding choice of accommodation on Spetses
This villa is not too far from the ferry port and is a flat walk to town
We received such a warm welcome from Kalomira and she could not have been more accommodating
Our room was a good size with a fine balcony
Breakfast each morning was served by Kalomira and it had a fine variety of tasty and nutritious foods
Kalomira was always so obliging providing us with umbrellas when it rained and beach chairs and beach towels for our trip to the beach - plus she coordinated a taxi to take us there
Kalomira showed us around the 200 year old church of her family which is located next to her apartments
On leaving she gave us a gift of home made jams and teas
I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Kalomira
