We recently stayed in a villa at The Nest Resort in Crete, and overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would gladly recommend to families looking for a peaceful getaway.
The Highlights
* Atmosphere: The resort is remarkably quiet and offers a serene, relaxed environment—perfect for unwinding with the family.
* Family-Friendly: It’s an ideal spot for guests traveling with children. The resort feels safe and welcoming without ever feeling overly crowded or noisy.
* Staff & Service: The absolute highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, incredibly friendly, and attentive throughout our visit.
A Minor Detail
* Villa Cleaning: The only small drawback was the housekeeping schedule. Cleaning wasn't done daily as described in the hotel overview, and while the thoroughness could occasionally be a bit better, it was only a minor issue and didn't detract from our overall comfort.
Final Thoughts
Despite the slight variation in the cleaning schedule, the gorgeous villa, incredible staff, and peaceful setting made our stay deeply enjoyable. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Crete!

Lovely hotel for a restful holiday

Lovely hotel and all of the staff were so kind and helpful. Good quality very good.
Only downside was you had to request via an app every day ti have your room cleaned/fresh towels. Staff amazing!

Absolutely fantastic- exceptional experience.The staff were so friendly and made us feel at home.
Special thanks for margarita at reception and her friendly colleagues.
I have been to many places around the world and this was wonderful memorable experience.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in the nest resort. Everything was perfect and the people working in the hotel are very pleasant. Size of the hotel is reasonable making our stay quiet and cool.

Beautiful boutique hotel - with friendly staff and fabulous kitchen

The Nest is situated on a beautiful hillside overlooking the ocean. It’s a 30 min drive from Heraclión airport, with lots of fabulous beaches easily accessible via car or taxi. The area is quiet and scenic, but not too far from restaurants and shops if needed.
The hotel’s design is modern and stylish. The rooms were clean and we were incredibly well looked after by its highly attentive and friendly staff. Our room had a fabulous balcony where we got an amazing sunset every single evening.
We enjoyed both the breakfast and set menu dinner each evening - the food was always fresh, delicious and local. The pool was beautiful, and we loved that we could privately book the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi at no extra cost.
I would highly recommend the hotel, which has a glorious boutique feel, combined with excellent amenities and location. It was excellent value, I would visit again.
