What A Great Hotel and Restaurant!

Another wonderful trip to Hotel Bambu Santiago Atitlan. Words don’t do it justice but I’ll try: beautiful, lush grounds, clean comfortable rooms for all budgets, simple to luxurious, a great restaurant, a pool and areas to sit and read, and an incredible friendly helpful and professional owner and staff. Thank you, Alvaro and Lidia, for your kindness and care. The hotel will help arrange tours and of all kinds. I’m 73 and took a day tour of the city, the cathedral, the markets, and the volcanoes. Fascinating! Gracias!

My holiday in Bambu Atitlan Guatemala

Excellent location. Beautiful view of lake Atitlan and three volcanoes.
Beautiful nature views.,
Staff Excellent and excellent service. Professional staff. Excellent in hospitality.
Friendly staff. English speaking staff.
Healthy delicious food.
Beautiful garden.

Can’t Wait To Go Back!

Great hotel: spotless comfortable rooms with nice amenities ( various prices for your budget ), delightful lush well-kept surroundings, quiet and peaceful, a big pool, a jacuzzi, pretty paths to walk, little spots to sit and read, but the absolute best is the whole team which, beyond being helpful, friendly, and professional, will do anything to make your stay special:
arrange tours of beautiful lake Atitlán and help with transportation to and from Guatemala City. ( A city tour of Guatemala is very interesting and the ride to Santiago Atitlan is so pretty !)
Visited twice. Can’t wait to go back.

Unforgettable and Unmatched hospitality, food, amenities and atmosphere

Everything we ever needed was right here at Hotel Bambú.
The gardens are beautiful and serene. The pool is secluded, a private paradise. The food always surpassed our expectations and rivaled some of the best restaurants we have dined in. The view while dining was unsurpassed.
Don’t miss out on the best pizza we had while in Guatemala. (We tried several) Hotel Bambú serves it on specific nights.
The staff had no problems accommodating our large group of 8 people. We were able to kayak on the gorgeous lake. We went on the bird watching hike guided by Diego which should not be missed! It was a definite highlight of our trip.
Do not hesitate to choose this beautiful hotel and restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
