Wonderful host, comfortable stay amidst nature.. 2 min walk to the beach

Firstly, big room with two beds is superb when you sleep with a child. A big bathroom as well. A sit out area where you can sit and enjoy tea while you watch sitting on coconut trees. Special mention of Meenakshi who took care of our room. The owner, who is a marine engineer and an entrepreneur by heart, deserves a special mention . He personally drove us to the airport and attended to our requests . He also arranges for car rentals or self drive cars. There is provision of parking of 4 to 5 cars

Worst experience ever.

The worst experience we ever had in India. Admin is unprofessional, unorganized, indifferent and downright rude. We booked the beach house we had enjoyed the year before, for ten days, four months prior to arriving. We confirmed the dates two weeks prior, and even sent a message that we would be arriving the day before. When we arrived, the house was not ready at all, and we had to wait for two hours while they cleaned in a hurry. It smelled of mildew and having been closed through the monsoon time. Termites were working on the wooden furniture and the trashbin was not emptied and nobody came to clean, and we had to ask for the wayertank to be filled everybtime it emptied, nobody cared - after five days we began asking what to do with the trash, and had to ask several times for more than three days, the answers were vague, evasive and disinterested, and this was the case with everything. Finally we had to come personally to the admin who claimed to be sleeping and who excused himself that the staff who was supposed to clean and throw the trash was away, as if he or the rest of the staff present were incapable of throwing out trash. Three days before leaving we were told that we would have to move over to one of their other rooms for the last night, as someone else had booked the house. Tried to contact the admin, who failed to reply for the next 24 hours until claiming that there was a government official who wanted the house so plzz understand. We said we were leaving straightaway and moved to someone else nearby and could personally confirm that no government official tool the house, only a young couple. We have never been treated so badly in India ever. Talking to locals we learned that this sort of rude and uncaring behavior was normal for Cilantro.

Avoid, at all costs

One of the worst stays I've experienced in my life. Please do not go by the things mentioned in details/amenities, you'll be disappointed. Rating zero on being value for money. Sure, the staff was quite okay-ish with some of the requests, but the management is completely at fault here.
Also, I paid close to 3k per night for 4 nights, but a basic necessity, drinking lwater was charged to me after 2 bottles of 500ml each. The staff and manager said 'that's how they function'. And this just explains the hospitality with which you'll be treated here.

Long long wait

Restaurant - waiting endlessly
As the restaurant lies nearby our accommodation we tried it twice.
The food was ok, but the wait far too long. The waiter is friendly but understands basically no English. He took our order and after more than 1/2 hour as we asked where our food was, e finally told us that they didn’t have paneer tikka. Luckily a nice Indian gentleman translated for us.
Also the prices a pretty high. There are good places which charge 40% less and serve fast and tasty food.

Very nice place. Definitely visit, atleast for food.

It's an amazing place and specially the food is worth mentioning. Very good quality food available. Commendable and dedicated service. Definitely visit. Price was at per, not extremely expensive. It's on average quite an affordable option in the place.
