Good hotel in Amritsar
We really enjoyed the food, for both breakfast and dinners, that we had. The kitchen team listened to our dietary requirements and ensured that all was done to accommodate our simple vegetarian requests. All freshly made with good flavours. Compliments to the chef and his team.
There were a few negatives that generally surrounded servicing within the hotel.
On arrival, we were due a complimentary welcome drink because of our loyalty status. This became awkward as initially they were only going to give one drink for 2 guests. Not very welcoming. Komal, the manager was not very proactive and helpful in this regard. Eventually, it got resolved.
Also, the website clearly states about a free shuttle to the golden temple at times. We were then told that it wasn't on. After pointing out their website, they decided to organise it for us.
The booming music, from the gym, plays in the pool area too. Rather annoying, especially at 7 am, and pointless as rarely many at the pool. It is taking away from the peace and calm of the rooms.
Our stay was good, however, and the hotel is a great place to stay in Amritsar. Plenty of things about on Mall Road and it is easy to get transport to areas of interest. They are new so it will take time to iron out their customer service issue.
