Good value for money, but not as good as it used to be!
My reasons were location, food, 24 hours check-in, services, and fairly decent rooms at that price. I overlooked not so good washrooms.
Some things have changed. Food is as good as ever. Location is of course great. Services are good but have not improved keeping in pace with the tariff hike. You still get a 5 Rs soap at the washroom.
But all that is fine. The trap that you should not fall into is booking it through a online portal. While I have been staying here for long and have always availed 24-hour checkout, I was told this time that while checking in that I have to check out at 12, even though I checked in around 5 pm. I rechecked the voucher and yes, it was mentioned.
The norm in most hotels is 24 hour checkout. So, do not fall into this trap of saving 10% for compromise in checkout time

Budget property
Venus inn is near to the airport as well as Bhubaneswar railway station approx 2.5 kms.Please book the new rooms which has been made.
Staffs are really helpful as well as restaurant food quality and taste is good (specially South Indian) and they offer pure vegetarian food.
