Hidden gem

A short drive away from Devka Beach is Saavi suites which offers large rooms for families and a nice pool. The staff are helpful. You can get to Mirasol lake and boating within about 5 mins. The restaurant SOL is excellent and serves a solid Indian lunch. The location is about 15 mins drive from Daman Fort.

Perfect for families

I recently stayed at Saavi Suites and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are neat, clean, and very well designed—compact yet cleverly planned, making them a great choice for budget-friendly travel without compromising comfort. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged.
The food and service were impressive, and the staff was consistently courteous, polite, and helpful, which really added to the overall comfort of the stay.
The property offers a decent swimming pool, well-maintained and perfect for a relaxed family break. The hotel itself is slightly away from the main beach area, so it may require a short drive, but the peaceful surroundings make up for it.
Overall, Saavi Suites is a great option for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-managed place to stay in Daman.

The property has nice rooms, a good pool and a reasonably fair restaurant. The approach road is not good, parking is not enough and some of the staff are indifferent. Their breakfast team was struggling to manage the guests. Our check in and check out experience was poor. They did not have complete info at check in - they said they have confirmation of only one room when we had booked two rooms. They found the 2nd room booking after a lot of effort. Someone parked their car blocking my car and our check out was delayed by 30 mins approx. People kept shouting in corridors even at late night. Washroom jet was too strong - potentially enough to create injury.
Overall, we were not impressed
