Dazzling Daman!
Absolutely lovely stay at this beach side property!
This resort is perfectly situated in terms of proximity to tourist spots and sightseeing locations.
My wife and I chose the premium rooms and I must say, it is 474 sq. ft. of tremendous spacious living. Our two nights spent here couldn't have been more comfortable and relaxed. From a comfortable bed to a crazy large bathroom with a bathtub bonus, our stay was absolutely amazing.
Kudos to this property and their management and the effort towards the upkeep and maintenance of the same. The property has many activities and is spread across a huge area of comfort and functionality. Two swimming pools add to the relaxing nature that fills this environment.
It is a perfect getaway for a long weekend with family and loved ones.

Avoid this property at all costs. Silver Waves Resort & Spa is nothing more than an overhyped, overpriced disappointment hiding behind misleading “largest ocean front” marketing.
To start with, the ₹13,000+ per night price tag for a so-called superior ocean view room is nothing short of outrageous. The room quality is shockingly poor—badly maintained, visibly worn out, and nowhere close to premium standards. For three adults, the room felt cramped and suffocating, making it clear this place prioritizes profits over guest comfort.
The situation worsens with their exploitative policies—charging extra amendment fees for unavoidable delays, and demanding a ₹3,000 cash deposit at check-in, which feels shady and completely outdated.
The property itself is riddled with problems:
Poorly renovated rooms with clear signs of neglect
Cramped, narrow corridors adding to the suffocation
Non-functional pool shower facilities
Filthy, foul-smelling washrooms in the pool area with no proper flushing
As if the inside experience wasn’t bad enough, the outside is chaos:
Ongoing road construction creates daily inconvenience
Untrained valet staff struggle with basic parking management
Not even a hint of compensation or acknowledgment from the hotel for this disturbance
The breakfast experience was equally pathetic:
Dining area felt like a furnace in peak summer due to lack of proper air-conditioning
Service was careless—basic requests like tea refills were blatantly ignored
Overall, this place is a complete rip-off. Daman has far better resorts offering genuine comfort, service, and value at competitive prices.
Do yourself a favor—don’t fall for their glossy advertisements. This stay will leave you frustrated, overcharged, and thoroughly dissatisfied

Possible Fraudulent Activity — Please Clarify Authentic Contact Details
I recently tried to book a “Duplex Ocean View” room at Silver Wave Resort and Spa, Daman. I visited the website thesilverwavesresortspa.com and contacted the hotel through the WhatsApp number +91 7509624109, which was mentioned on the site.
I received a WhatsApp reply with room rates, followed by a call from a person claiming to represent the hotel. The rates seemed reasonable, so I expressed interest in booking. He then shared a QR code for payment. When I scanned it, the code appeared invalid.
A few minutes later, he called again and sent another QR code — this time showing a different name on Paytm. I informed him, and he said the hotel’s UPI code wasn’t working and that this was an “alternative, machine-generated QR code” valid for a short time, urging me to pay immediately.
This behavior raised suspicion, so I asked for the hotel’s official bank account details instead. Instead of sharing them, he sent yet another QR code with a different name. Since all the payment details looked inconsistent and suspicious, I refused to proceed with the booking.
Although the website and WhatsApp number appeared to belong to the actual hotel, the person’s conduct suggested possible fraudulent activity.
I request the hotel management ot TripAdvisor team and members to please clarify whether this website and WhatsApp number are officially associated with Silver Wave Resort and Spa, Daman, to prevent others from falling victim to such scams.
