Horrible Experience with Agoda & FabHotel Shekhawati Palace, Jaipur
I booked FabHotel Shekhawati Palace, Jaipur via Agoda for a one-night stay with my wife and 5-year-old son on June 18, 2025. What awaited us was a nightmare.
The hotel was in an extremely unhygienic condition — foul-smelling, dirty, and completely unfit for a family to stay in. We couldn't even think of staying there for a minute. We were left stranded with our luggage in an unfamiliar city and had to hire a taxi to find a new hotel on our own, causing extra expense and immense stress.
I immediately contacted Agoda support, but no one told me to take photos (I was more concerned about the safety and comfort of my family than documenting filth). Despite explaining everything and submitting the invoice of the alternate hotel, Agoda had the audacity to offer me a $5 refund — as a "gesture of goodwill."
Even worse, their follow-up emails implied I should now travel back to Jaipur to collect photo evidence. Truly, an unbelievable customer experience.
Agoda failed on every front — no quality check, no responsibility, and complete disregard for customer well-being. I’ve traveled a lot, and this was by far the worst booking and support experience I’ve ever had.
Final advice:
Avoid FabHotel Shekhawati Palace at all costs.
Think twice before trusting Agoda.

Comfortable Stay. Nice n Soft Spoken Staff. Good location. Affordable Price. Hygienic Place with Good Ambiance. A Good Place To Stay With Family And Friends On Your Next Visit To Jaipur. Near To Market And Malls. Restaurants Are Nearby. Hotel Not Far From The Airport. Self Parking Available. Extra Beddings Available. Overall A Nice Place.
