Della Adventure and Aamby Valley Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Wet N Joy Water Park Lonavala and Imagicaa. This hotel features an indoor pool, a restaurant, and a business center. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Additionally, concierge services, dry cleaning, and laundry facilities are onsite. Housekeeping is available on request. The Bark Resort stole our hearts!
Had no idea this resort even existed until a family wedding was scheduled here to which we were invited. We had such a wonderful stay at The Bark Resort in Lonavla! The place is spotlessly clean and has such a warm, welcoming vibe — we felt at home right away.
One of our favorite things was the beautiful art all around the property, including in our room. You can tell a lot of care has gone into the space. The gardens are peaceful and perfect for a quiet walk, and the library and games room were such lovely surprises — perfect for unwinding.
The pool was clean and inviting, and it was great knowing the property was secure and offered free parking. It's tucked away just three minutes behind Fariyas Resort, so it’s easy to find but feels nicely removed from the crowd. All in all, a really special stay — and we’ll definitely be back! Best part is they are pet friendly :)

Pathetic service and dirty smelly hotel

⭐ 1/5 — Very disappointing stay
Honestly, this was one of the worst resort experiences we’ve had. The property itself has a nice vibe, but the service and maintenance really let it down.
We were travelling with two 1-year-old kids, yet had to wait for check-in. After getting the rooms, there was no water for almost an hour, room phones and a bell weren’t working, key cards stopped working multiple times, and basic housekeeping requests were ignored. We didn’t even get fresh towels or bottled water the next day.
The pool wasn’t very clean and the lobby had a terrible smell.
One receptionist, Roy, was also extremely rude when we questioned the restaurant charges. Most importantly, a staff member entered our room with a master key without permission while we were inside, which was honestly very uncomfortable and unacceptable.
The resort has potential, but it clearly needs much better management and maintenance. Definitely not worth the money and we won’t be coming back.

Our two days holiday saga at The Bark
Our two days family holiday saga at The Bark :
1. Booking experience: Poor, we tried to reach the support team on friday night around 8:15 after visiting their official website which says support is available from 9 AM to 9 PM. However, out all 3 numbers, none was reachable in one go. After trying a couple of times on each number, one was picked by a lady who guided us a little regarding booking and early check in possibilities. For tariff she said drop a Hi on whatsapp and we will proceed there. Since i was planning to visit the very next day, I thought I will be able to book then and there but... poof! No response there onwards. It was quite necessary for me to discuss a few other things before booking as I have a small kid but there was no response at all. Went ahead with cleartrip booking with a hope that hotel will live upto its hype.
2. Location : A bit interior to the highway but I loved the location anyway. Bit secluded, just my kind. If you are coming through public transport, just call the desk and they will provide you a few contact for pick and drop.
3. Check in experience : Very smooth. As we required an early check in, they did allow us the same. 5 star for this courtesy. Just make sure you call them and confirm your early check in a day before arrival.
4. Rooms : Not as good as they should be. Small, cramped, no refrigerator, no almirah, cheap toiletries, no brush/paste, leaking commode, bit dirty and dusty here and there. What i hated the most was the bed. The head region was made of sharp wooden edges which was quite scary for the small kids. My kid did bumped into it once while playing on the bed. Hey support, please do something about it.
Also, extra bed is chargeable by INR 750. This was something I wanted to discuss beforehand but alas! That absence of support.
4. Food : Damn Oh Damn. 5 star for the Cafe Mojo. Their food partner is just amazing. Everything, yes, everything we tried was just superb. Earlier we had planned that we will have the dinners outside but the taste of Cafe Mojo didn't let us. We were absolutely amazed and this got to be the highlight of this hotel/resort.
5. Checkout : Super smooth. Reception staff is courteous I must say.
Overall it was an alright experience for the money we paid. We had a holiday which was nice-ish. Ofcourse they can do better and I am sure they will. Next time we are visiting Lonavla, we are definitely visting Cafe Mojo; however we cant say the same about The Bark: An Art Hotel.

Luxury of a resort , warmth & love of home
I came across this beautiful resort in 2021 and since then I have been a regular guest! The staff is amazing, polite and hands on. Every corner of the property is adorned with thoughtfully curated artworks and unique show pieces that tell a story, inviting guests to slow down, observe and truly be present. The resort is pet friendly which for me is the cherry on top of the cake. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with yourself , be inspired and soak in beauty in its purest form - this is the place to be

Perfect Getaway with your Pet!
My family and I stayed at the Bark Hotel for a night with our pet dog. The resort is lovely, with beautiful artwork all over the property, making it an absolute treat for art lovers. It is difficult to find a nice pet friendly resort in Lonavala that's not only aesthetically appealing but also far away from the humdrum of the main market. The location is perfect, it's not too secluded and completely accessible to the main areas (some maintenance can be done on the sloping approach road).
The only issue is the food at the resort. The quality of food and taste does not match the rest of the standards of the property. We had indo-chinese food on our first day and then opted for the breakfast buffet. Both were not quite palatable. The food taste and quality could have been way better. The cost and quantity was fine. But that's the only issue. Everything else, from the rooms to the overall cleanliness, the staff, the amenities, were all great. You can also place an order with the hotel kitchen for boiled chicken and rice for your pet dog for INR 300. The portion size is good enough for an adult dog. Overall, our experience was lovely, minus the dining of course. A must visit for art lovers with their pets!
