Do not book
I had booked this venue for my wedding, which was a morning wedding followed by the reception at 7 PM on the same day. However, when we reached the venue, we were shocked to find out that they had already taken six bookings for the same banquet on the same day. The banquet was already occupied before we even arrived.
After I got ready and reached the venue, they kept saying that we were getting late. I would like to ask them — which wedding ever runs exactly on time? On top of that, they informed us that our booking was only till 2 PM because another wedding was scheduled after ours. This was never clearly communicated at the time of booking.
They rushed our varmala ceremony within 5 minutes and forced us to vacate the stage immediately. We were not even allowed to click proper pictures. The staff literally started removing chairs from underneath the guests because they wanted us to leave quickly for their next event.
Our lunch setup was shifted to the corridor instead of the promised area. Even worse, the menu we had selected was not properly served — no welcome drinks, no vegetable dishes that we had specifically chosen. Even the varmala provided to us was a very basic rose-and-white-flower garland, whereas they had shown us something completely different during booking.
They charged us the full amount but provided extremely poor service. When the groom’s side raised objections, the staff behaved rudely with them as well.
They completely ruined my special day. This is the real truth about Ashiyana Residency. No wedding can happen exactly on time, and they had absolutely no right to take multiple bookings for the same banquet without informing us properly.
There is a lady named Neha Madam there who did not support us at all. Instead, she started playing the “women card” during the argument. Honestly, this entire setup feels like a business model built only to make money while humiliating customers.
Just imagine how ruined my wedding day became and how embarrassed the bride’s side felt.
My sincere suggestion is: spend a little extra money and book some other venue, but do not choose this place at any cost. Otherwise, it will become a lifetime regret.
