Good Experience at P.K. Rresidency
We narrowed down this one based on ratings, reviews and price after searching various options online. Booked through Agoda with a good discount.
The Hotel is located on the main road opposite to District Court with easy access to bus, cabs and autos. It is around 5kms from the Railway station. The hotel has three restaurants as mentioned in their leaflet
1. Rang Mahal
2. P.K. Coffee Shop
3. Barbe Que Bistro
We haven’t tried their restaurant instead we tried Spice Mantra which is located in the ground floor on the left side of the hotel. The food here was really great
We booked Deluxe Double A/C rooms. The rooms were spacious and beautiful with all amenities. They have a centralised A/C. The room has got a big LED TV and has lot of Hindi and English channels apart from the local channels.
B’fast was served in room itself in packed boxes. It was delicious.
Overall we had a great stay

3. Food- 3 In house restaurants and plenty other options in and around
4. Staff- Helpful staff- 4 star
5. Entertainment- Large TV with lots of channels- 5 star
Negatives
1. Front Desk Executive- Not that friendly- 3 star
2. Complimentary Water bottles- Had to ask for it twice or thrice- 3 Star

Poorly maintained rooms lacks cleanliness
Any future guests coming to this hotel should know the truth about it.
1. The rooms are poorly maintained. The image shown by management is not what you get when you book a room in this hotel. There were cracks in the painting of the walls and the ceiling of the room. The bathroom fittings like the wash basin tap, shower taps, toilet soap holders are rusted, leaky and covered with uncleaned coating of sediments. This means they simply don't care for the guests’ requirements.
2. I felt cheated to pay an amount which could have given me a much better room in another hotel in the same area where I stayed.
3. The entire room lacked cleaning. The room had dusty surfaces in some areas and fungal growth on certain surfaces could be observed. It felt like the rooms lacked maintenance in the entirety and cleaning was superficial only.
4. The TV size is actually very small and it is of the old model type.
5. The bedsheets and the towels are all old types which were soiled and even after cleaning had a greyish-brownish look. We used our towels which bring during travels.
6. Good thing about the room was that the A/C was working well and hence we felt that in the summer heat it was one good factor. The bed was large enough. These were the only two good things in the entire experience we had in the hotel.
7. The breakfast is not served in the hotel. They have a coffee house outside the hotel which is actually on the roadside where you are given token for two idlis and a Pongal. No tea or coffee tokens are given. You have to buy that yourself. There are no north Indian dishes. The breakfast is limited in quantity and not of good quality. We felt cheated here to.
8. Laundry services are not offered at all.
9. Basically our entire experience was very poor.
