Great location and courteous staff

Few mins walk from rock beach Villa du ocean is in the heart of French Quarter.
The hotel has a rooftop restaurant ( just had breakfast there which was average) and a pool overlooking the church and also a slight view of the ocean, just a slight as other buildings were blocking the view obviously ;)
We stayed for a night on the room on the ground floor which was good for a short stay, no complains.
Having arrived much ahead of the normal checkin time we decided to go for a ride around the town and came back for an early checkin.
The front desk staff is very helpful and courteous.
Will certainly recommend the hotel.

Centrally located property with

A lovely location with amazing staff service who were very welcoming... The rooms are very dated and tired looking and in major need for renovation.. Clean facilities with basic amenities.. Small roof top pool with beautiful views.. Breakfast spread was limited but good. A good hotel overall.. Very centrally located and 5 mins walk to promenade beach

The sheets were so yellow, stained and smelly that I preferred to stay dressed in a hoodie to avoid resting my head on the pillowcase, and I'm not talking about the creaking of the bed, the stained towels and the noise

A dream

Villa of happiness. Since the first review we came back 3 times. Nothing to change on the appreciation. Everything’s perfect, especially the way you are welcomed by Sokkalingam the manager and Delphin.
The nice rooms perfectly cleaned every day, the good restaurant on the rooftop with a panoramic view, the excellent situation close to all of the interesting things to see, and 100 meters from the amazing promenade on the ocean , i tell you this is the Villa of happiness!!
