Srinagar hotel experience

The hotel was spic and span , good size rooms , food was very good .The bathroom was also spacious and lift service was very modern and convenient .
A special mention to the bell boy Mansoor who served us so well and took care of all our needs .

Worst Stay ever

Worst place to stay here . We have visited multiple places but never been into such disgusting hotel. They just have a building which doesn't even provide basis facilities like hot water and food was pathetic. We have kids with us and office staff could not even able to provide basic food like milk, oats or porridge. It was getting really painful to stay there for 5 days when our kids were hungry and they were not able to provide them the good food

We are three couples stay in The hotel grand mahal -this is old property air condition are very poor and old . front side rooms are thik thak

Mr. Aleem F & B Manager food was good about service was excellent and Housekeping Zahid gave excellent service during our stay in the hotel for two days and service in is very good rooms y and service of housekeeping is very good in night all staff members are good thanks Zahid

Horror on Srinagar

probably the worst hotel we have stayed in so far in J&K.
We checked in on the 5th afternoon and were booked till the 7th morning. Since the room was not ready we opted for lunch. The meal was very spicy , practically unpalatable. I had diarrhoea for the next 2 day!
When we entered the suite it had a very musty smell , the bedsheets were terribly stained all over with maroon marks. Pillow covers were dirty , bathroom was unclean.
Breakfast the next day was horrible. There was a gujerati group staying there so the meal basically catered to their tastes. Sugar in all the dishes.
Unfortunately we had a medical emergency in the family and had to depart a day earlier. We asked for a refund , even a partial refund which they adamantly refused to do so. On returning home they have persistently refused to answer calls.
I would certainly diuade any prospective traveller to avoid this place. Not only is the property below par but the the management is highly unethical.
