When reality has exceeded expectations
The prices are beautiful, you can't pay immediately. If you have to - give all the coordinates of interesting places, help with booking and purchase.
The rooms are modest but clean, that's more important. Clean bathrooms.
All I have left are good impressions.

Bed bugs in blankets
But... There are no bed sheets provided, only blankets. Me and my partner used 2 different blankets, I had horrible bed bugs bites after staying here (> 100). My partner did not have any.

Overall a really great experience
The guest house is really simple and mimics the feeling of Varanasi. We had few plans but thanks to Navi we could manage our trip much better and meet places we would not to, for example, the boat trip at 5am was amazing.
Although it was really hot and humid, our bedroom had A/C which really helped to relax when need to.
We really enjoyed the terrace while having breakfast and just chatting with each other.
In the end, if you are travelling alone or even with friends, and want to meet nice people and see as much as you can, I highly recommend Banaras Guest house.

A perfect place to stay in Varanasi
It is a minute walk from the road which has full access to cars and rickshaws.
3 minutes walk from Assi Ghat , so you can wake up and quickly get before sunrise to watch the arti and then hop on a boat and see the Ganges wakes up.
The guesthouse itself is beautiful with paintings on all the walls. It is very clean with comfortable beds and hot water is available from the biggest geyser I've seen in India. Enough to wash your hair and still have hot water to shower!
And the bonus of it all is Naveen and Krishna. They are so sweet and kind. They really care for their guests and do everything with so much love. It is felt in the appearance and cleanliness of the guesthouse and in their hospitality.
They can take care of taxis, boat or walking tours, laundry and make you a great breakfast.
Note that there is noise from the road as in Varanasi they love to honk more than anywhere else in India. But Varanasi is so chaotic, so even if you stay in places further away from the main roads, there will always be noise. For me, this was the perfect place to stay.
