Charming resort in ubud
Charming little boutique hotel nested within the lashes of greens. Excellent breakfast, the staff are polite and very attentive. We stayed at a villa with owned private pool. The view is to die for and it’s close proximity to all the little restaurants when you walk out the road. We want to go around places in Ubud so looking for good place to say for months and finally decided on this hotel. Best hotel I have ever stayed!!

Jungle Tranquility squared
There are not enough positive words to describe the amazing GK Bali Resort. Arriving at this stunning hotel greeted by their smiling and accommodating staff is simply the most reassuring feeling that you have made the right decision to come here. Located in the hilly area of Sebatu, where you find the most stunning flowers, trees, plants - the hotel blends in perfectly and uses all of the vegetation to its advantage. The walk from the ”lobby” to your own private villa is as a 130 step journey to heaven, surrounded with orchides and sounds of the jungle.
The view of the valley beneath and the jungle across the valley is breathtaking and no picture can capture its full beauty.
The booked villa and private pool is exceptional - clean, smartly furnished, with all necessary and unnecessary amenities.
Then you start chatting with the staff at dinner and everyone is beyond accommodating and friendly in such a way that us Europeans have the small village of Sebatu to learn from when it comes to customer service and overall civility and politeness. You cannot find more wonderful people anywhere in the world. I don’t want to try either. I rather go back to GK Bali Resort for more.
The restaurant serves delicious Balinese and Indonesian authentic food along with proper and tasty western options as well. Kitchen deserves all the praise they can get - versatile, attentive to details and simply professional in their craft.
For us, family of 4, GK Bali Resort provided a well needed escape from busy hotel resorts in Nusa Dua, a gem hidden in the deepest of jungle, close enough to visit rice fields, elephant sanctuaries, cafés and waterfalls.
But just staying at the resort will be equally amazing as to experiencing the Ubud area. Rest assured you will be greatly taken care of by the amazing Kori and her colleagues. Sorry for not remembering all names but you were all amazing.
Please never change GK Bali Resort and Staff - we will come back as soon as we can ❤️

Paradise in Bali
Our experience at the GK Bali Resort villa in Sebatu was unmatched. A privileged jungle front space, a comfortable villa with its private pool and permanent details of the hotel staff. They offer activities to clients and we chose an early walk through Sevastou with Yoma and offering ceremony with Deva, who taught us the beautifulness of Bali customs. Paradise. Very grateful!!!

BEST OF THE BEST!
I could write volumes about this place, but I'll keep it short and sweet: GK Resort is absolutely phenomenal!
We stayed for six nights in a villa with a private pool, and everything was perfect..
The hotel's location is breathtaking, the atmosphere is great, nestled right in the heart of the jungle with a stunning view over a lush green valley.
The rooms are spacious, incredibly comfortable, and spotless. The bathroom is equally large and a delight to use.
Both breakfast and dinner were extensive and flawlessly prepared-the food was truly delicious.
We would especially like to thank the staff for their genuine kindness, openness, and helpfulness. That daily smile made our stay even more special. A huge thank you to Vina, Parwi, Ayu, Adit, Rose and Deva, as well as all the other team members whose names we've missed.
We will definitely be back. See you soon! Love to all of you!
