Super good!!
Place is beautiful, a very green garden with birds sound.
The family who runs it is lovely and helpful.
Location is perfect, near the main road in Ubud full of restaurants and shops.
There is a good breakfast with toast, eggs and fruits. But if you’re used with a big breakfast (like me), you can buy it yourself in a near grocery store.
The room was in perfect condition and there is a daily cleaning included.

Gusti Kaler: The best value in Ubud
Clean, very safe, excellent position, air conditioned rooms at a bargain price.
Jesse all chalet’s with private bath and balcony are set in delightful gardens.
A family run business that genuinely works hard to ensure you have a good experience.
You can leave luggage with them if you are doing a side trip.

Highly recommended family run guesthouse.
The guesthouse is a series of discretely laid out units set in a nice garden. I only saw one mosquito in my ten day stay and I slept with the windows and door open. Security is good and I was comfortable leaving my documents, money and expensive camera gear in the room. The type of guest staying there and the families watchfulness made me totally at ease. My friend, who is paranoid about these things soon came to the same conclusion, but in any case there is a strong padlock is on the door. Each unit has a sitting out area and at night there were very few insects and I had my own friendly frog and a couple of geckos to keep me company. The furniture is basic but adequate. The beds are soft - especially compared to Thailand style. There are several power plugs including one outside on the porch area. The plugs are the two pin round prong variety. There is a short but adequate breakfast menu and breakfast was delivered. A large thermos of hot water is provided and free tea and coffee for each unit. Bathrooms are clean and quite large with hot water. The room was fan only but they have aircon in some rooms. In the end of March it was very hot with the humidity up around 94% during the day but I found the rooms reasonable at night. Gusti can pick you up and deliver you to and from the airport. The charge is the same as a local taxi but a lot nicer. As a local he knows the where everything is. This is not a pushy family. I was never asked if I wanted to go on tours or visit shops although I am sure they could arrange or suggest many options. They have a scooter for hire but suggested I use the shop over the road for what I wanted. Two doors up there is an excellent and very cheap laundry that stem wands the creases out and dries your clothes properly. Good luck trying to get your clothes dry if you do your own washing. Trust me, it isn't worth the effort, have the laundry do it. One day turn around less in emergency. At $1US for shirts and assorted underwear it was good value. Opposite is a handy local shop that sell some of the things you would find in a tiny seven eleven. There are several excellent restaurants and coffee houses on the street. The street is also wide enough to get a bus up and down - some streets in Ubud are not. Housekeeping was done everyday.
